Chapter 23

Narrator: Jake and Erika had made it to Nassau, Bahamas. By the time they got their it was late. Jake had reserved a nice house for them right by the beach.
They were both so tired and just wanted to go to bed. They were going to have the next 7 days to do everything together.
But they wanted to enjoy their first night together as husband and wife. Love and passion through out the night, eventually they got tired and passed out.

Next day
8 A.M

Erika woke up and took in the view. She walked outside and enjoyed the warm sun. Everything still felt like a dream to her..was she really married now? She smiled at how happy she was but she couldn't deny something she really needs to do once she gets back to LA. She's not sure how Jake would react but it didn't matter right now, she'll tell him when the time comes.
Jake woke up and searched for his wife only to see her outside by the shore. He got up closer and just watched. He put some pants on and walked over to her.

Jake: Good morning Mrs. Paul
Erika: Oh good morning Mr. Paul
Jake: How did you sleep?
Erika: You know my answer..
Jake: Haha yes but I like to hear you say it
Erika: I always sleep better when I'm with you.

Narrator: He smiled and kissed her and they were off to get ready. Jake and Erika had a day of fun things planned.
After about 30 minutes they were ready and a driver was waiting out front. First on their list was snorkeling together. They made it on time to board the boat that would be taking them. There was another couple joining them as well. The ride on the boat felt like an eternity but they made conversation. The other couple with them was Justina and Ryan from New Jersey. They have been married for 2 years and were celebrating their anniversary.

4 hours later
Their experience snorkeling was fun. They saw lots of underwater creatures they didn't know about and some they did. By the time they had gotten home it was close to 6 in the afternoon. Justina and Ryan invited them to go out to dinner to get to know each other more. Both Jake and Erika agreed. They got ready and met Leonard who would be their driver for the week. He took them to the nice restaurant where they would all be meeting. They were seated and orders were taken.

Justina: So Erika how did you guys meet?
Erika: It was a long time ago but it was at an event.
Justina: Aw must be nice to be with him for so long.
Erika: Well actually he was my boss first, *laughs* very long story. What about you?
Ryan: We met at a party through a friend
Erika: Oh nice, ended up being a great match
Ryan: Yeah. So what do you do Jake?
Jake: Oh Um, I'm a CEO.
Ryan: Oh yeah what's your company?
Jake: Team 10
Justina: Wait...no way! You're that Jake Paul? Wow
Ryan: Never heard of them
Justina: Yes honey from YouTube. I've seen a few videos
Ryan: Oh yes. I remember interesting concept you have going on. You don't really have a good reputation though?
Jake: All I can say is not everything you see is the truth.
Ryan: Yes but how many people have said similar things about you that ended up leaving?
Jake: To seek attention you mean? Then yes. Just because of my name they try to bring me down and take my credibility.
Ryan: So you're telling me all those people are wrong?
Erika: There's always two sides to every story. What those people did was just out of revenge.
Ryan: I get that, but Jake has also proven that some of those things could be true.
Jake: Never! I'm so tired of everyone lying about me, look man believe what you want. I don't need to prove myself to you
Ryan: There's no need to get upset Jake. Just stating what's already out there
Jake: You can judge all you want bro. At the end of the day I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks or says about me. As long as I'm happy and I have my wife that's all that matters.
Ryan: Thats great dude
Jake: Babe lets go

Narrator: He throws a pile of cash on the table to pay for dinner. He grabs Erika's hand and storms off with her. They make it outside and Leonard quickly starts the car. The ride was silent on their way back to the house.
They arrived and Jake walked immediately to the back without saying a word. He sat on the sand staring at the beach. He's happy with his life..sure he's not proud of some things he's done in the past but he's still human.
Erika took her heels off and went to the kitchen to make some tea. She felt so bad for Jake. Anywhere they go he's bound to run into someone ready to point out all his flaws and mistakes. Tonight was a great example of that. The tea was ready so she poured some for herself and Jake. She went outside and sat next to him and handed him the mug. He was ready to speak up but she shook her head. He grabbed her and pulled her closer to him. She leaned her head on his chest as they watched the waves. Even at night the beach was beautiful, it was perfect to help calm Jake.
He was finally ready to speak so he told Erika to sit up.

Jake: I'm sorry about tonight..
Erika: Don't be, I'm not upset with you all.
Jake: I know but I feel like I could do a better job with my anger or how I handle these situations.
Erika: Yes but he was provoking you. Like you said nothing else matters as long as you're happy.
Jake: And that I have you...
Erika: Forever. We will both work on becoming better. I will help you handle your anger and you will help me with my anxiety.
Jake: Thats a deal

Narrator: They both smiled and leaned in to kiss. They went to get ready for bed since they had to be up early for more fun.

The following day they went on an ATV tour by the beach. And by the third day they went on a 4 hour fishing trip which ended up being very competitive between the two.
By the fourth day they stayed in bed longer and woke up late. Jake had a surprise for Erika and wasn't even sure how he managed to still keep it a secret.

Erika: Babe it's almost noon, what are we doing today?
Jake: I was thinking we could go skydiving?
Erika: No way!
Jake: Are you down?
Erika: Yes I'm down!
Jake: You're so cute when you're excited haha
Erika: Um get your ass up and get ready! Let's go go go!

Narrator: He watched her and laughed thinking how lucky he was. They showered and got ready quickly making their way out to meet Leonard. Today was going to be a good day.

LA
8 A.M

Narrator: Christian had been too busy to even realize what was going on in the world. He spent his time working on more drug deals and other stuff. He was currently in the meeting room when Alissa storms in furious.

Alissa: Where the fuck have you been?!
Christian: The hell is your problem!
Alissa: Do you not know that Erika and Jake got married?
Christian: WHAT! WHEN WAS THIS?!
Alissa: 4 or 5 days ago does it matter! I tried to call you!
Christian: SHUT UP
Alissa: Excuse me?!
Christian: I SAID SHUT THE FUCK UP!

Narrator: He screamed and gotten up from his chair. Alissa had frozen from being so afraid. He grabbed his chair and threw against the glass wall. Everything shattered. Alissa screamed and Charlotte ran in.

Christian: Charlotte I want eyes on those two right now. I guess Jake Paul really wants me to hurt him. He can kiss his life goodbye.
