Chapter 20

Jake: Erika, you should know by now that I would do anything for you.
Erika: And I would do the same for you! I'm so happy I can't believe you got me a ring! I can't stop staring at it
Jake: It was definitely worth the wait, I'm happy you love it

Narrator: They ended up sleeping in Erika's room. Since it was really late they decided to just go home in the morning.

Meanwhile Christian had made it back to LA and he brought the heat with him. It was sunny outside. He was at the office waiting for Charlotte to arrive. His patience was running low and ever since they made it back he just became angrier but determined to make sure he would get his way. Charlotte was running behind ever since they had gotten back. She was so tired and Christian had her doing so many things for him she couldn't catch a break. She finally made it back to the office and went directly to the meeting room. She was worried about Christian. She wasn't sure if it was because of his injuries or something else but Charlotte hated to see Christian suffer. She knew the type of man he was and certain days she was not proud of the things he does but she didn't care. She is in love with him. The reason why she remained so loyal even when she knew what he was doing was wrong.

She sat down next to him as they waited for their guest. And after 10 minutes in walks in none other than Alissa Violet. She sat at the other end of the table with a devilish smile and her heels on the table.

Alissa: Mr. Lombardi what a pleasure.
Christian: Pleasure is all mine, thanks for coming
Alissa: Absolutely! What can I do for you?
Christian: Let me get right to the point. I hate Jake Paul and I want to bring him down now I know there's some history there trust me I've seen all the online tabloids and gossip pages. I require your assistance and I'm willing to pay whatever to get you to help me.
Alissa: No way in hell! Sorry I'm leaving
Christian: Ms. Violet sit down and listen to what I have to say.
Alissa: No you listen I hate that man so much but I promised myself I would just drop it and move on.
Christian: Alissa I do not care what you promised to yourself. You're getting me very angry and I suggest you keep as a friend and not your Enemy. Like i said I'm willing to pay for your services
Alissa: How much are we talking here?
Christian: Money is not an issue. Name your price
Alissa: Hm I do like the sound of that but the last thing I want to do is get involved with that loser again so I need to know what exactly you want me to do.
Christian: I'm not quite sure yet. He took MY girl. She went off with him like nothing I thought we had something special and now I want my revenge as you can see he beat me
Charlotte: But sir Ms. Costell made it clear she wants nothing to do with you
Christian: Charlotte! Who asked for your opinion? Speak when I tell you to
Charlotte: I'm sorry, understood sir.
Alissa: Wait a minute this is all for that bitch? I'm so sick of her, why does every guy want her!!
Christian: Name your price, you can even have Jake once I get Erika
Alissa: Gross but I do like the idea of hurting Erika. I want 2.5 million
Christian: Done. Charlotte please get Ms. Violets bank information and transfer it immediately
Charlotte: Yes sir I'm on it
Alissa: Wow! You look hot bossing her around, well when shall we get started?
Christian: I have some unfinished business with another person as well but as soon as I'm done with that I will let you know the plan.
Alissa: Fine by me. It was a pleasure and I can't wait to get started. Goodbye Mr. Lombardi and to you too Charlotte.

Narrator: Alissa walked out and Christian had a smile on his face. He knew everything was coming into plan except for his work. He needed to focus on that right now.

Team 10 House
1 week later
6 PM
Narrator: Jake and Erika were getting ready in their room. Jake had organized a family dinner to make their announcement. Erika's family had made it to LA and so did Jake's. The rest of Team 10 was there too. No one knew what the dinner was for but everyone was socializing. After an hour Jake and Erika arrived finally, there were cameras flashing which of course was the paparazzi trying to get a shot of both of them together.
The restaurant was beautiful. There were flowers in the middle of each table and everyone was dressed nicely. There was a chocolate fountain and a display of hors d'oeuvres and even a bar.
Finally the time had arrived and Jake was getting nervous as he grabbed the mic.

Jake: Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thank you all so much for coming. I'm sure most of you are wondering why you are all here
Tony: I just came for the food
Jake: *laughs* Thank you Tony, that's my best friend everyone
Tony: Anytime
Jake: Well the reason you are all here is because Erika and I have some news to share with you all and we wanted to let you all know at the same time
Kade: YOU'RE PREGNANT?
Jake: No Kade! Damn it
Greg: Hey! Tell your asshole friends to shut it so we can all know what's going on
Jake: Erika and I are engaged
Pam: I knew it!
Chance: That's my boy
Tony: Yeahhhhh
Lauren: Oh no
Jake: We are very happy and our wedding is a lot sooner than you think. We don't really want anything extravagant but you all mean so much to us and we want you all to be there. Babe?
Erika: You've said it perfectly, we can't wait!

Narrator: Once they finished their announcement they were hugged and kissed by all their loved ones. Some were even crying out of happiness. As Jake looked over and saw how happy Erika was and knowing he was the reason for that smile just meant so much to him. He was in love, there was no denying that this was forever.

The weeks went by and the wedding was 1 day away. During all that time Erika and Jake would workout everyday together. They went on date nights, worked on some business for Team 10. Erika was so happy they hired a wedding planner, she wasn't sure if she could even handle the stress or get everything ready in such a short amount of time. Their wedding would take place at a gorgeous mansion. The backyard had a nice view of Hollywood and there was room for all the activities Jake wanted. Erika chose all the decor and setting pieces for each table and together they chose the food.
They still couldn't believe they were only one day away but they were definitely ready to say I do.
