Chapter 9

Team 10 House
1:30 AM

Narrator: Erika had woken up about an hour later. She was still drunk and remembered what she had seen. She got up and ran downstairs, everyone was in the living room and looked at her. She grabbed her shoes and purse and ran out. Tony went after her and so did Kade. She kept running and was able to pull over a cab, she didn't want to go home so she went to a nearby club. She made it in and went to the dance floor. She was enjoying herself in the middle, feeling the music trying to forget all the pain and worries. Everyone else around her watched. Three hours flew by and the club was getting ready to close. Erika still didn't want to go home, as she was leaving she spotted a familiar face. It was Logan, he hadn't seen her since Around the time Jake kicked her out. He actually felt guilty since he advised her not to tell Jake the truth.

Logan: Hey Erika
Erika: Hey
Logan: what are you doing out alone?
Erika: I wanted to get away from everything and just dance.
Logan: How have you been?
Erika: Just trying to live
Logan: Erika you should go home, idk what's going on but I know you shouldn't be out alone. It can be dangerous for you there are a lot of creeps
Erika: I can take care of myself! And I don't want to go home

Narrator: She starts walking away. She didn't like being told what to do. Logan went after her and offered to take her to his house. She agreed after the fifth time.
They got to his house and he showed her the guest room, by this time it was around six in the morning and she was tired. She fell asleep as soon as she laid down. She had a hangover and couldn't really think straight. She got up and went downstairs to find Logan. He was making green juice. And gave her a cup to drink some.

Erika: Thanks
Logan: No problem, should help you with the hangover
Erika: Ugh yeah, it was worth it. I had fun and enjoyed myself
Logan: Trust me I know *laughs* I'm sorry for my brother, he can be an asshole
Erika: *sighs* I just don't want to see him
Logan: Yeah I get it, for what it's worth that girl he was with is not cute
Erika: *laughs*

Narrator: They talked some more and then Erika got an uber to go home. As soon as she got to her door Kade, Tony and Kelly were there waiting.

Erika: Oh no
Kade: You finally decide to show up!
Tony: Where the hell were you?!
Kelly: We we're searching for you everywhere! You had us all worried
Erika: Sorry mom and dads' I went out dancing again. Didn't feel like coming home and stayed at Logan's
Tony: You stayed at Logan's?!
Kelly: You didn't!
Tony: Did you?
Erika: WTF NO IM NOT THAT KIND OF GIRL OR THAT LOW OF A PERSON
Tony: Oh thank god
Kade: Let's get you inside

Narrator: They all go inside and Erika showers and gets dressed. She sat down and they talked. She apologized for worrying them but she was not sorry for what she did. They couldn't stay mad at her and tried to sympathize with her. She was heartbroken. She let them know that she was planning to go out tonight again. Logan invited her out and she said yes. Tony and Kade were hesitant but agreed to go with her and same for Kelly.
Soon after Tony and Kade head home.

Team 10 House
3:30 PM

Narrator: Tony and Kade arrived and informed everyone. Jake arrived and no one told him anything. He went to the office and put his head between his hands. Even though Tony was upset with he was still his best friend.

Tony: Jake we found her. She's safe
Jake: How is she?
Tony: Heartbroken
Jake: Why? I asked her if she wanted to be with me and she didn't answer me
Tony: So then you go and move on quickly
Jake: Idk man
Tony: who is she anyway?
Jake: She's a model
Tony: I usually stay out of your business but when you're wrong I will tell you.
Jake: It was just dinner, you act like I asked her to be my girlfriend
Tony: Whatever. I gotta go
Jake: Are we playing ball tonight?
Tony: Can't I have plans
Jake: What the hell why
Tony: Logan invited Erika out and she invited us so we're all going
Jake: Logan? When did he talk to Erika
Tony: He was the one who found her last night, he didn't let her go alone and took her to his place so she could be safe.
Jake: WTF I WILL KILL HIM
Tony: Bro chill
Jake: I don't trust him, I especially don't trust him around her
Tony: You're overreacting I'm leaving

Narrator: Jake was really angry. His brother lied to him. He shouldn't be surprised it's not the first time but he should've told him when he asked him.

Team 10 House
10:30 PM

Narrator: Everyone in the house has finished getting ready and we're ready to head out. Jake was in the office when Nick came in to talk to him.

Nick: You have no right to be angry
Jake: I'm not mad at her, it's him. He lied to me and I don't trust him
Nick: She didn't want me to tell you but the night you left she came here looking for you. She wanted to give you a chance and when I told her you left she was sad. Later on when we were out I got the notification of you out with that girl. It was stupid of me but I showed it to her.
Jake: Why didn't anyone call me or at least something. I feel like a big asshole. This girl is nothing she's just there
Nick: Well now that you know, I gotta go.

Narrator: Jake was left at the house feeling like shit. He tracked their location and went to the club they were at. He saw her, she was dancing having a good time in the middle of the dance floor. All eyes on her, she was moving with the beat of the music. Around her was Logan and all of their friends having a good time. He got closer and she spotted him. Her heart dropped and she went straight to the bar. Logan and Kade looked up and saw Jake there.

Logan: Jake what are you doing here?
Jake: You lied to me
Logan: I had to for your own good
Jake: What the fuck does that even mean?!
Logan: You fucked up
Jake: I didn't do anything with that girl it was a simple dinner
Logan: Just go man, we're all here having a good time
Jake: These are my friends and that is MY girl
Logan: you don't treat her that way
Jake: I'm done with you

Narrator: Jake was heading to the bar when Tony tried to stop him. Instead he pushed him and got to Erika. She stared at him and he stared back. Her eyes revealed her pain and he knew he was the cause of that.

Erika: Please leave me alone
Jake: No, I did that once and look at where we are now
Erika: You didn't mean what you said, you moved on so quick
Jake: Yes I did! Every word
Erika: Who is she?
Jake: She's not important
Erika: clearly she is to be on a date with you in New York.
Jake: How many times do I have to tell you, you're the only one I want.

Narrator: He leans in and kisses her. She kissed him back, she pushed him and yelled at him. She wanted to have a good time and told him to leave. She goes back to the dance floor and begins to have fun. She sees someone she thought she would never see again. There was fear in her eyes and she panicked. Everyone was in their own conversation and not paying any mind to her. She quickly made her way to the exit and began to walk fast. She didn't live far so she was able to make it to her front door. She was closing the door when she feels a force push it back open and sees Aiden there. He was drunk, and wanting revenge on her. He pushed her to the ground and kicked her rib. She screamed in pain, he grabbed her face and slapped her. She fell back and saw everything fading away.

Jake had rushed in and got aiden off of her, he kicked and punched him repeatedly. He dragged him outside and beat him to the ground. He ran back in and saw Erika she was still conscious but could barely keep her eyes open.

Jake: Erika!! Baby stay with me, I'm going to take you to the hospital okay? Do not close your eyes
Erika: Jake I love you
