Chapter 24

Narrator: Jake and Erika had arrived to their destination. They had to go through a quick learning course on everything they needed to know about skydiving.
After a few minutes they were getting suited and ready. They were brought out to get on the plane and suddenly heard a loud surprise!
Team 10 was there in the plane waiting with all smiles.

Erika: What the hell! omg what are you guys doing here?
Jake: Surprise! We thought the last 3 days you would enjoy being with the squad as a family
Erika: Yes definitely!
Kade: Family goals
Tony: Can we all send it now?

Narrator: And before they knew it they were up in the air. The experience was thrilling and the adrenaline was rushing for everyone.

The rest of the day they all just hung out that beach. Eventually it was dinner and later on they went to the club to celebrate.

Back in LA

Narrator: Christian had sent Charlotte to investigate and the only thing she found out was that they were in the Bahamas. She was too afraid to even tell him that's all she found so she drove to the Team 10 House and see if she could discover anything. She saw security waiting out front, she thought about posing as someone who is coming to work with Jake. She fixed herself up and walked to the security officer.

Charlotte: Um hello sir, I'm a little lost and I'm looking for Mr. Jake Paul's House?
Matt: And you are..?
Charlotte: Oh sorry my name is Janice and I'm supposed to be working on some projects with Mr. Paul.
Matt: Mr. Paul's house is the one on the right, unfortunately he's not home and won't be back for another few days.
Charlotte: Oh well no worries, I'll try him again when he's back.
Matt: I believe Kevin is here you could speak to him, he's at the house on the left.
Charlotte: No it's alright, thank you anyways. Have a nice day.
Matt: You too.

Narrator: She quickly got in her car again and drove away. She went straight to the office and found Christian drinking his sorrows away in his office.

Charlotte: Sir I'm back and I have some information. Not much but I thought you would want to know.
Christian: Just say it already
Charlotte: Mr. Paul bought a house next to the Team 10 house. I believe that's his new home with his wife.
Christian: SHES NOT HIS
Charlotte: I'm sorry sir. I also found it they are in the Bahamas, the rest of the team is there with them as well. They won't be back for a few days.
Christian: Get out now
Charlotte: Ok if you..
Christian: OUT!

Narrator: He threw his scotch at the door. He was so angry how could he lose Erika. He needed to come up with a plan something to get her back. He decided to leave and go home only to do more drinking when he got there.

Days had passed and the honeymoon was over. They were back home and ready to get back to work. Everything was setting in to place for Jake and Erika. Their house was nearly done being furnished looking more and more like a home.
Jake was successfully becoming more known and even began to teach about everything he knows about becoming an influencer.
Erika was busy a lot. She had photo shoots for different companies but at the end of the day they always made time for each other.

A month had passed and everything was great. Jake had to go to an important dinner and afterwards had plans to meet the squad at the club.
Jake: Babe I'm leaving!
Erika: Ok I'll miss you
Jake: I'll miss you more, I'll see you later tonight
Erika: Yes drive safe. I love you
Jake: I will, I love you too

Narrator: He got in his car and drove. It was a big social dinner and lots of important people would be there. He really didn't want to go but he's the face of Team 10 and needs to do everything he can to bring success to his company.
He had arrived and was immediately attacked by paparazzi waiting outside. He said hi but kept it moving. Inside he saw lots of familiar faces and some he didn't know at all. As he was mingling he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and was surprised to see Joy there.

Joy: Hey haven't heard from you in a while.
Jake: Yeah been busy with my life.
Joy: I thought you would get back to me once you made it back to La that night but I never heard from you again.
Jake: Yeah, well listen Joy. Idk what we were are, doesn't even matter. I'm just not interested, I'm a married man and it's staying that way.
Joy: You got married? Well congrats..
Jake: Thanks.
Joy: Who's the lucky girl if I may?
Jake: Erika
Joy: Oh your assistant..
Jake: She used to be, she was always more than just that. Anyways I gotta go I'm running late.
Joy: Yeah I'm leaving too. I'll walk with you.

Narrator: Jake was out first trying to get away from her. As lights were flashing he felt Joy turn him and give him a kiss on the lips. He pushed her hands off of him and looked at her furiously. As the valet pulled up with his car he sped out of there immediately and got to the club they were all meeting at.
The team was there in the VIP section having a good time. Jake had walked in and immediately sat down. He poured himself a drink, Erika saw him and came over to sit on his lap but he refused. She looked at him and then walked back over to dance with the girls.
No one really noticed he was upset except for Kade.

Kade: Whats wrong bro?
Jake: Check your phone, I'm sure it's posted already.
Kade: what are you talking about?
Jake: At the event while I was leaving she kissed me. I was trying to get away from her
Kade: who did?
Jake: The bitch Joy
Kade: Oh no! Bro cmon
Jake: I didn't want that, I swear
Kade: I believe you but you need to tell your wife immediately
Jake: How can i? I just pushed her away from me because I'm upset
Kade: she's probably dancing with Mackenzie. Let me see what I can do

Narrator: Kade went to find the girls but they went on the dance floor. He asked Tony where they were and he said they had gone to the bathroom.
Meanwhile in the bathroom Erika was helping Mackenzie with her dress with Kelly and Lauren. Kelly was on Twitter when she saw pictures of Jake and Joy.

Kelly: Hey Rik, um you might want to see this..
Erika: What is it?
Kelly: Just come look

Narrator: She got out of the stall and looked at Kelly's phone. She was confused and a bit angry. What the hell was Jake doing kissing that woman.
She didn't think twice and walked out of the bathroom back over to Jake.

Erika: Is this why you pushed me away from you?
Jake: It's not what it looks like I swear
Erika: You had a chance to tell me and you pushed me off. I thought we didn't keep secrets from each other. I'm leaving.
Jake: Babe don't go. Let me explain
Erika: I'm going home. Don't bother me, until I'm ready to speak to you.

Narrator: She told the girls she was ready to go home and so they did. After she vented, she was feeling a little better and was ready for bed. She said her goodbyes and went upstairs. She took her makeup off and put on some pajamas. She looked up at the ceiling pondering, she wasn't mad anymore. She was more upset..why didn't he tell her immediately? From the way it looks on the pictures she was after him. But yet he still didn't inform her, instead she had to find out through a gossip website. She shut her eyes and tried to forget which helped a little and made her eventually fall asleep.
