Chapter 22

Wedding Day
9 AM

Narrator: The big day had arrived and the lovebirds were feeling anxious. Erika was already getting her hair and make up done. She had knots in her stomach, her mind was racing with all kinds of thoughts.
Meanwhile Jake was getting one last workout done with the boys. The ceremony doesn't start until 2 so he has plenty of time to get ready.

Leslie was in the back making sure everything was getting placed correctly. She had to deal with so many things at once. Everything was going smoothly until the DJ blew out one of his speakers. She freaked out for a moment but called Jake instead.

On the phone:

Leslie: Hey Jake we have a small problem..
Jake: What happened?
Leslie: Jon blew out one of his speakers, is there any way you can go get one?
Jake: Yeah, send me a picture of it and I'll go to Best Buy to get a new one.
Leslie: Yes! Thank you, I know you should be getting ready but the live band isn't just going to cut. We really need a DJ.
Jake: I know, I'll go now and I'll be there soon.
Leslie: Alright see you soon!

Narrator: Jake grabbed the guys and left in the pick up. After 30 minutes they made it to Best Buy and immediately went to the stereos.

Tony: Dude smile, it's your big day!
Jake: I know I just want everything to be perfect for us. I'm just worried.
Kade: Bro Don't stress, it's just one screw up and we're already handling it.
Jake: Yeah you guys are right.
Tony: After this can we go get some food, I'm hungry bro.
Kade: When aren't you hungry.
Jake: Haha Yeah we'll go get some food.

Narrator: They paid and loaded the stereo onto the truck. Jake drove to Panera so they could eat. They ordered food and sat down to talk, Jake kept noticing someone staring at him. He finally stared back and saw it was Alissa again. Feeling disgusted he told the boys and they left immediately.
As they were driving they noticed a car following them. Jake got paranoid knowing that it was actually Alissa following them and he began to speed. The last thing he wanted is for her to know where the wedding would take place so he called security to have the gate open.
They made it back to the Team 10 house. Kade and Tony went to grab the rest of they guys and their stuff. Jake stayed back to speak with security to let him know what was going down. He needed to make sure nothing ruined this day. He has no clue what Alissa intentions are but he was going do everything he could to make sure she didn't get to ruin anything.

Erika was feeling even more nervous. She didn't get much sleep only a few hours. She was thinking about Alissa, the look she gave her wasn't a friendly one. Would it be over once she marries Jake or will Alissa never back down? She wasn't sure if she could handle that.
No one really noticed how quiet she was and if they did they just thought she was nervous for the wedding. She was reading her messages, she opened one that wasn't saved in her phone

Unknown: If you marry him Erika, you will make me go crazy. You are going to be mine and I meant it! Be careful what you decide, I'll see you very soon sweetie

Narrator: She knew exactly who that was, she was panicking. Her eyes screamed for help, but the one person who could calm her wasn't there. She couldn't take it anymore! She threw her phone and got up from the chair, her hair was pinned and her makeup wasn't finished. She ran downstairs and grabbed her keys. Lauren noticed and tried to stop her but she was too late and Erika was gone.

Lauren quickly called Jake to let him know Erika left without saying anything. He was already on his way to the house with the boys. He told the driver to drive faster and they finally arrived. He ran inside to find his mom and Erika's mom crying in the living room. Lauren was there trying to comfort her but Jake needed to know what happened exactly.
