Chapter 36

Nashville, Tennessee
11 A.M

Narrator: Erika was just waking up when Moe walked in.
Moe: Hey sleepyhead how about we have a girls day?
Erika: Sure let me get ready
Moe: Ok also can I have your phone? You don't need it today...so let me have it
Erika: Really? I won't be on it, I promise.
Moe: Don't care, hand it over.
Erika: Ugh fine!

Narrator: Moe took her phone and went downstairs. The photos of Jake were posted online. By this time Erika for sure was already tagged in most of the posts.
She was done getting ready and they left to get their nails done. Hours went by throughout the day and Erika had been successfully distracted.
They were now home preparing for dinner. She was feeling really thankful. Her family had been very supportive, they all knew about her baby but no one brought up Jake.
Erika had finished dinner and was ready to take a nap, she begged for her phone back but Morgan refused. She ended up snatching it from her bag when Moe wasn't looking and ran upstairs. There were many missed calls and messages. Including one from an unknown number. Her mood dropped..she was afraid to read but did anyways.

Christian: How does it feel? Being hurt by Jake, looks like he's already over you and enjoying his time in Italy with Joy. You don't deserve happiness. Such a shame you didn't take my threats seriously and you ran away. Enjoy being alone you bitch.

Narrator: She began to cry as she fell to the ground. She held her stomach trying to think of the little one inside of her. Viah came closer and began to kiss her as the tears fell down her face. She wanted to stop feeling weak so she searched for a flight back to LA. She then called Nick and told him she was coming back. She packed her bags and laid in bed. She would be leaving overnight when everyone was asleep. She knew what she was doing, she wanted to prove to everyone she doesn't need Jake or anyone to feel sorry for her.

1:30 A.M

Narrator: She had managed to leave quietly and was on her way to board the plane with Viah. Nick was already waiting to pick her up. She was so thankful for his friendship. She dozed off and slept most of the plane ride.
They had arrived safely, and after she finished grabbing her bags she saw Nick. She ran and hugged him right away.

Nick: Rik, I missed you!
Erika: I missed you too. We can catch up in the car.
Narrator: They got in and we're on the highway but there was quite a bit of traffic.
Nick: Did you see?
Erika: Yeah..
Nick: I haven't spoken to him.
Erika: He probably doesn't care.
Nick: Not now but I know he's hurting. He feels alone.
Erika: Nick you saw and heard how he treated me? He didn't let me explain or even Matt. He chose to believe the psychopath over me.
Nick: Can you explain to me why he was at your house?
Erika: He broke in and threatened to kill Jake if I didn't let him come over and give him an opportunity to win me over.
Nick: We need to go to the police!
Erika: And say what? You don't know this man, he's involved in a lot of crimes with the mafia.
Nick: I need to do something, I can't let you be in danger and now that you're pregnant it makes me more concerned for your safety. We need to find you a house, he knows the location of your apartment. You can't stay there tonight.
Erika: Fine but I want to stay at a hotel.
Nick: Only if we can go look at houses tomorrow.
Erika: Fine..

Narrator: They made it to the hotel and Erika checked in. She was ready to just sleep the night away and forget all her worries. Nick had left but agreed to pick her up in the morning. Leaving her alone with just her thoughts and baby Viah. She changed and got in the bed. No matter how much she tried to forget Jake she couldn't..she still loves him. Even after he said all of those hurtful words.

The next morning

She was already up since Viah had woken her very early. Nick was on his way over and he sounded very excited on the phone. A few minutes later he had sent her a message to come down and as she walked out Kade and Tony ran to give her a big hug. She was happy to see them and glad Nick brought them along.

Nick: So I stayed up last night searching for houses and I found 3 really amazing ones. All in a private area and somewhat away from Hollywood.
Erika: You didn't have to..
Nick: I know but I wanted to, you're our family.
Kade: Wow it's already been almost a month since we've seen you.
Erika: Yeah, I know. It was great being with my family, although I got an angry voicemail from my mother for leaving.
Tony: Still a savage *laughs*

Narrator: They had finished looking at all 3 properties with the realtor. The houses were all beautiful but she really loved the second one. There was plenty of rooms, a nice yard in the back for Viah. A pool and hot tub and of course it was a little far away.. well enough for her to live her life peacefully. She made her choice and was ready to sign the papers. She wanted to move in as soon as possible and with the help of Nick she was able to do that.
A week went by and she was already living in her new home. The boys helped her with everything, she hardly had to lift a finger. Things were looking positive for once and she was happy about that. Her belly was finally showing and when she would meet up with Team 10 they were so happy to see her growing bump. Kade would come over the most besides Nick. He was definitely supportive and his girlfriend Mackenzie also. She was even thinking about making them her baby's godparents, it was the best choice.

Months were going by and Kade had been updating Jake by email anytime he saw her. Since the night he was pictured with Joy, Jake had cut everyone off in his life. No one besides Kevin and Krista knew where he was or what he was doing but that didn't stop Kade from emailing him. He would never get a response but deep down he knew Jake was reading them. He had just got back from going to Erika's second trimester check up. The next check up they would find out if she's having a boy or girl, the baby was very good at not showing during the ultrasound. He went to his room and got on his computer to write his email.

Dear Jake,
Miss you bro, I hope you're doing good this week. I just got back from Rik's check up. She's doing well, the baby also. We're having a hard time figuring out the gender so by next check up we should be able to know. Rik is doing good also, she's glowing more and more each day. Wish you could see this beautiful experience. I can't wait for Mack and I to have one of our own but for now I'm planning to be the best Uncle to your baby. I say it's yours because I know it is, I sure hope she can forgive you when you find out the truth. Love you man, take care. - Kade

Narrator: Kade sent his email and went back downstairs to play games with the squad before they had to leave. They were having a family dinner at Erika's place tonight.

Miami, Florida

Narrator: Jake was in currently leaving the studio. He had been working on music to keep his mind occupied. It had been months since he left Italy and quit the movie. He traveled for a bit but then ended up back in Miami. He loved it here, so many memories. Knowing it was his and Erika's favorite place. He picked up some food and went to the house. There were times he felt lonely but it was best if he stayed away. He was cleaning up when the door rang.

Postman: Hi are you Mr. Jake Paul?
Jake: Yes
Postman: Sign here please

Narrator: He signed on the mans tablet and was handed a yellow envelope. He went in the living room and turned on the fireplace to sit down. He opened it and saw it was a copy of the divorce papers all signed by Erika. It wasn't official yet until he signed but he didn't want to sign at all. Signing those papers would mean she was no longer his... and no matter how much he tried to hate her..he just couldn't. He even tried to hook up with multiple girls but never actually did. He couldn't, he didn't want to. He grabbed the papers and threw them in the fireplace. He was ready to send an email to Kevin and David when he saw a new email from Kade. He opened it and read it, how would Kade know that baby is his? He knew it wasn't, she had been messing around with Christian and played them both. He was over it and just decided to go get ready for bed.
