He leaned in, they both were nervous but neither of them were going to admit it. The hotel wasn't the most romantic place, but it wasn't a planned endeavour. Then the taller hunter with dark hair held out his hand, stopping the archangel.
"Is this-" Sam started before Gabriel firmly interupted.
"Don't think about it and your heart will guide your body," Gabriel whispered.
"That's dumb and untrue," Sam laughed quietly.
"Shut up and do it," Gabriel rolled his eyes. Sam complied, ignoring everything as he crashed his lips into Gabriel's. He didn't think of Gabriel as he did it but he focused on the sugary cherry flavor of his lips, the softness of his dirty-blonde colored hair, and the feeling of his small hands on his face. He knew it was Gabriel, all the pieces were there, even though his eyes were closed. He suddenly pictured him in his mind and pulled away.
"Bad idea?" Gabriel asked and raised an eyebrow. Sam pondered over the question for a moment, he decided to shake his head 'no' and smile. He wasn't sure whether it was a good idea but he did know he liked it.
"That means we could make it a 'thing'," Gabriel smirked.
"I'd like that, but what would happen to you. Is this forbidden?" Sam asked, raising an eyebrow.
"It's father's fault, he made you and he can suck my dick if he doesn't like it." Gabriel scoffed, earning a small smile from Sam. A genuine smile that made Gabriel's heart happy every time he saw it.
"So, that means we're boyfriends now?" Sam asked awkwardly with the smile still sitting adorably on his face.
"Yup," Gabriel smirked, "at least if that's what you want."
"Of course it is," Sam replied.
"Good, I was feeling a little rejected." Gabriel laughed and Sam chuckled lightly at the sarcasm. Gabriel's eyes glowed in a way Sam didn't recognize,  at least not in the archangel. It was like a torch had been lit behind them. Sam shook away his thoughts and realized he was staring directly into Gabriel's eyes, not Gabriel himself.
"Sorry," Sam cleared his throat awkwardly.
"Don't be, I happen to like it when attractive people check me out." Gabriel flirted and Sam laughed again, genuinely.
"You're fucking cute when you do that," Sam complimented. Gabriel scrunched his nose at the comment.
"When I do what?" Gabriel asked in a sarcastically offended tone.
"When you be a sarcastic little flirt," Sam said and ruffled Gabriel's hair. Gabriel grimaced slightly, making Sam laugh again.
"That's gross," Gabriel said.
"What, me complimenting you?" Sam asked jokingly.
"No you flirting period," Gabriel smirked, "you're a manly moose it just doesn't sit right."
"Whatever," Sam laughed again.
"You're awful smiley today," Gabriel noted and poked Sam's nose with his pointer finger.
"Why wouldn't I be?" Sam smiled and used a hand to cup Gabriel's cheek, pulling him into a quick kiss.
"Didn't expect you to take a liking to me that quickly," Gabriel said.
"Why would I agree to be with you if I didn't?" Sam questioned jokingly, Gabriel scoffed with a smile.
"You're complicated Winchester," Gabriel said simply, "so is your brother, the other Winchester."
"Can't wait until he finds out about this," Sam sighed.
"He won't know anytime soon will he?" Gabriel worried a little, knowing Dean hated his guts. It was hard enough to spend time in the bunker with Sam when they were friends, especially with Dean around.
"Of course not," Sam said quietly.
"Okay," Gabriel said and looked down. Not in disappointment or dread, but just because his feet seemed to catch his eye.
"Is that okay?" Sam asked concerningly, putting a hand on Gabriel's shoulder. Gabriel nodded and smiled with half of his mouth.
"It was hard to just be friends with you, how the hell is this going to work out?" Gabriel chuckled darkly, like a glint of sadness escaped with the laugh.
"We'll figure it out, you were always there for me. I'll always be there for you." Sam smiled brightly at Gabriel, a smile that was full of promise and trust. A smile that radiated truth from Sam's words, at least in Gabriel's mind.
"I love you," Gabriel mumbled. He never knew what the words meant, he didn't even know if he really meant then when he said them, all he knew was that he cared deeply for the younger Winchester. Sam lost all the color on his face, it was immediately noticed by Gabriel.
"Did I say something wr-" Gabriel started before Sam interrupted.
"No um- I just haven't heard someone say that... In a very long time." Sam stuttered and rubbed the back of his neck, he suddenly felt guilty and worried he hurt Gabriel.
"I love you too," Sam said awkwardly. He didn't say it in a way where it seemed he didn't mean it, he said it in a way where it seemed he didn't want to say it.
"Why did you hesitate?" Gabriel asked sincerely.
"I'm not going to be heartbroken I honestly didn't think I'd get this far," Gabriel added.
"Jessica," Sam says quietly. Sam remembers all the talks he had with Gabriel about Jessica, all the times Gabriel tried to help. That's what Sam fell in love with was the fact that Gabriel always wanted to make people smile. He wanted the past and any mistakes left behind, he wanted people to stick together when shit went downhill.
"She was the last person who said that to me in that way," Sam added quietly. He felt his voice shake and threaten to shatter, Gabriel just sat and listened to Sam like always.
"I miss her still sometimes," Sam shrugged.
"I know you do Sam, and I understand because you really loved her. It's going to be hard to move on but things have changed, the world has changed. It's hard but everything is going to slip away at some point." Gabriel sounded sympathetic, he knew what it was like to lose things whether it was people or objects.
"Except me, I'm as old as time and I'm practically immortal! And when youndie and go to heaven I can go too, we can visit her." Gabriel smiled a shit eating grin and Sam chuckled slightly, he put his head in his hands and rubbed his eyes.
"You're such an ass," Sam laughed.
"So I've been told," Gabriel smiled.
"I can't be upset or serious for more than a minute with you around," Sam noted.
"That's not necessarily a bad thing," Gabriel pointed out, "it's a great thing."
"Most of the time yeah," Sam laughed and pushed some hair away from his face.
"So uh- quick side note- I've never acted on any gay impulses..." Sam raised an eyebrow and Gabriel laughed so hard his sides cramped up.
"It's not that funny," Sam laughed a little.
"It really is," Gabriel panted with an open-mouthed smile and a bright red face. Sam crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow.
"Whatever, I'm just nervous. I don't know anything about being gay, tack on the fact that you're an archangel, and then add the idea that my brother won't like this and neither will your father." Sam giggled and Gabriel couldn't help but giggle back and nod.
"Accurate," Gabriel laughed.
"But we'll figure it out baby," Sam winked.
"I trust you and your big moose hands," Gabriel smirked.
"I'll make these big moose hands go to good use," Sam smirked and Gabriel blushed slightly.
"Oh yeah," Gabriel tried to laugh off his nervousness and make his voice seem sarcastic. Hearing the hunter talk like this tied up his stomach. His voice cracked slightly on the 'yeah' so he cleared his throat, Sam noticed quickly and laughed.
"Messing with you," Sam kissed Gabriel's forehead.
"Ru-" Gabriel started before the door opened to reveal a slightly bruised and bloody Dean.
"Dean, what happened?" Sam stood up worried, walking towards Dean.
"I'm fine, just got a little nasty." Dean chuckled and threw a duffle bag on the ground.
"You want to be healed Dean-o?" Gabriel asked and Dean shook his head.
"I'll wait for Cas," Dean mumbled.
"That's right, where is my brother?" Gabriel smiled from where he was sitting criss-cross on one of the hotel beds.
"He'll be back here a little later," Dean grumbled. Something in Dean's voice sounded disappointed and annoyed. He was probably hiding something, but Sam could really care less in that moment. Dean walked over to the other bed and fell down onto it, Gabriel's eyes followed him. Sam disappeared into the bathroom to shower.
"How was the hunt kiddo?" Gabriel asked kindly.
"A little rougher than usual, but not difficult." Dean answered, his voice plain as he laid on the bed still.
"You sure you don't want me to heal you, you look sore." Gabriel commented, Dean looked at Gabriel and shrugged.
"I don't see why the hell not," Dean murmured. Gabriel stood up quickly and put two fingers on Dean's forehead, healing him. Dean felt his burns get cold, he felt his sore and tired muscles relax, and he felt his slight headache fade. Gabriel took his fingers off and took a step back as if admiring his work.
"Thanks Gabriel," Dean said nicely.
"Sure thing kiddo," Gabriel nodded and sat back down on the other bed.
"So what did you guys do all day?" Dean asked, having a casual conversation with Dean was rare so Gabriel felt a little awkward.
"Nothing but lounged here," Gabriel shrugged. He pulled an orange sucker from thin air and placed it in his mouth. Dean nodded and Gabriel absentmindedly watched as Dean pulled off his boots and tossed them across the room. A sudden swoosh sound filled the room and Dean smiled slightly.
"Hello Dean," Castiel grumbled, "and brother."
"Hey Cas," Dean said, "make it okay?"
"Yes," Castiel said plainly, "are you healed?"
"Yeah Gabriel healed me," Dean said.
"Much thanks Gabriel," Castiel nodded.
"No problem brother," Gabriel smiled.
"Hey Cas!" Sam called excitedly from the bathroom door.
"Sam," Castiel squinted at Sam.
"Yeah?" Sam asked, he pushed some of his wet hair from his face.
"Have you been around another angel recently?" Castiel tilted his head slightly and walked toward Sam.
"No, just you and Gabe." Sam looked around the room, unsure of what Castiel was talking about.
"You have a very strong grace around you, it's something that's only activated through certain intimate activities with an angel. It's a protectant of sorts that shows ownership of a person, specifically a mate. When it's on a human it can have serious consequences for the angel who did it, seeing as human to angel 'love' isn't widely accepted." Castiel explained and Gabriel nervously picked at the blankets. Sam looked over at Gabriel and then back at Castiel.
"Thanks for the lesson but I don't think that I've done an intimate act with any angels lately," Sam laughed.
"Sam this could get said angel in a lot of trouble," Castiel argued.
"I'm sorry I just don't know what you're talking about," Sam said seriously this time.
"Cas I'm sure you've just been busy and you're seein' things -er, feeling things. Just relax and we can figure it out later." Dean sighed and motioned Castiel to sit on the small armchair in the corner. Castiel nodded silently and sat there, trying to relax and listen to the white noise.
"Dean I'm going for a quick walk," Sam pointed his thumb towards the door and Dean nodded.
"Don't get lost, be back before midnight, and uh- don't get in trouble." Dean called after Sam who walked out of the hotel room, waving the three a goodbye.
"I'm gonna go, I'll see you guys tomorrow." Gabriel said quickly, he tipped his head at Castiel before zapping away. He didn't go away however, he went outside to Sam.
"Heya kiddo," Gabriel beamed.
"Hey Gabe," Sam said quickly, "so uh- that grace?"
"Yeah that's mine, I uh- kinda didn't think about it." Gabriel chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. Sam smiled at Gabriel, he looked kind of cute when he was nervous. Sam had never seen him nervous in a way that didn't make him nervous too.
"It's funny," Sam crossed his arms, "it's almost as if you love me."
"I do love you, we had this debacle earlier." Gabriel crossed his arms too and Sam laughed slightly, he bent down and kissed Gabriel's nose.
"You going somewhere?" Sam asked and Gabriel shrugged.
"I told everyone else I was," Gabriel said, "but I may pop in tomorrow morning if you'd like."
"I would like that," Sam nodded.
"Goodnight Samich, see you soon." Gabriel smirked, secretly hoping Sam would say 'I love you' or kiss him goodbye.
"See you tomorrow, I love you too." Sam whispered and cupped Gabriel's cheek gently, he pulled him up for a gentle kiss. Gabriel smiled and zapped away, leaving Sam to walk back to the hotel room with a smile. He opened the door and Castiel looked back up at Sam, inspecting him and the angel grace around him.
"Cas is everything okay?" Sam asked and Castiel nodded.
"It's fine, I'll just ignore it for now." Castiel sulked and slumped in his seat, Dean looked over at Castiel sadly before looking back over at Sam.
"You sure you haven't done anything though?" Dean asked and Sam bitch faced him.
"Who would I do it with, where would I do it, why would I do it, how would I do it, and when would I have done it?" Sam held up his fingers with the beginning of each question as he listed them off, he held up five fingers on his right hand. Dean shrugged and turned his attention towards Castiel.
"Angel looks pretty bummed," Dean answered and Sam laughed.
"He's alright, I'm sorry Cas." Sam laughed slightly and crawled into his bed.
"I'm going to bed, goodnight guys." Sam smiled and Dean raised an eyebrow suspiciously at Sam's smile.
"Night Sammy," Dean said. Castiel and Dean whispered as Sam drifted to sleep, he was tired and knew he'd get a good night's sleep.
Morning
"Sammy, up and at 'em!" Dean shook Sam who groaned and rolled over.
"I slept in, sorry Dean." Sam grumbled and rolled out of the bed.
"You looked peaceful so I decided not to wake you," Dean laughed slightly.
"Where's Cas?" Sam asked and Dean shrugged.
"Somewhere with Gabriel," Dean said.
"How'd you sleep Dean?" Sam asked and stretched his shoulders, his back cracking as he did so.
"Normal? I stayed up with Cas pretty late talking about angel to human intimacy, it's pretty interesting in all honesty." Dean added and Sam grimaced slightly.
"You talked about it with Cas? That's kind of gay don't you think, or at least weird?" Sam chuckled and Dean rolled his eyes.
"God doesn't hate gay people and it was for knowledge, not anything weird. Human to angel relationships aren't allowed though, only because they always ended badly. A history thing." Dean rambled and Sam laughed at Dean's interest.
"You're strange," Sam commented simply.
"My knowledge gain," Dean shrugged. Castiel and Gabriel walked in a second later.
"Speak of the devil, or angel." Sam smiled and everyone laughed slightly.
"Morning Samsquatch," Gabriel smirked and looked Sam up and down.
"Good morning Gabriel," Sam blushed. Gabriel was obviously checking him out, but no one really seemed to notice but him.
"Good morning Cas," Sam smiled and Castiel nodded. Castiel walked past them and sat back on the chair in the corner silently.
"What's gotten into him?" Dean asked Gabriel who shrugged.
"He's having a little anxiety lately," Gabriel answered. Dean nodded and walked over to Castiel in hopes to console him.
"How'd you sleep?" Gabriel smiled and Sam couldn't help but laugh a little.
"Better than usual," Sam pushed some hair from his face. His hair was tangled and sticking everywhere since he'd just woken up.
"That's partly the grace's doing," Gabriel whispered, "it can block nightmares and other things like that."
"Thank you?" Sam said confused, Gabriel nodded and smiled.
"Sure thing," Gabriel pat Sam's shoulder.
"You guys want to go get lunch?" Dean asked loudly, making Gabriel and Sam turn around to face him.
"Sure," Sam said quickly, "wait it's lunchtime?" Dean nodded and laughed slightly.
"Yeah it's like 11:30 man," Dean said.
"Shit," Sam said amazed (in a good way) earning a smile from Gabriel.
After they are done eating and they're sitting at the table
"Thamks for buying Dean," Sam said.
"No problem," Dean smiled. Gabriel put a hand on Sam's thigh, no one noticed since they were in the back of the Impala. Sam bit his lip and got a little nervous, then a thought crossed his mind.
"Cas, Dean. I have something I wanna tell you guys, I've uh- already told Gabriel." Sam stuttered and Gabriel retracted his hand, worrying himself. What the hell is Sam about to say?
"I wanted to come out, as being bisexual." Sam said awkwardly, Castiel just blinked and Dean smiled.
"Okay, that's fine Sam I don't mind." Dean said and looked at Castiel, hoping he'd add something since Sam still looked nervous.
"I'm glad you are able to express your sexuality Sam, especially if it makes you happy." Castiel added quietly, he still seemed slightly off at lunch.
"Thanks for being supportive," Sam smiled.
"Sure thing faggot," Gabriel giggled.
"That's rich coming from one," Sam laughed. Even Dean laughed at their entire conversation.
"You got me there," Gabriel added.
"Damn right," Sam mumbled.
"Stop flirting with me Sam," Gabriel said sarcastically.
"Shut your mouth shorty," Sam laughed.
"I'm not short! You're just very tall." Gabriel pouted sarcastically, Castiel smiled at that one.
"Mhm," Sam looked out the window at the passing greenery with a smile. When they finally got back to the hotel, they packed up their things and headed back to the bunker.
"Notice how Dean's been so nice to me lately?" Gabriel asked Sam as they walked to Sam's room, Sam shrugged.
"Yeah but we know that never lasts long," Sam sighs. Gabriel nodded and looked at Sam sadly, he grabbed Sam's hand and intertwined their fingers gently.
"I care about you Sam, are you okay?" Gabriel asked and Sam nodded, smiling.
"Yeah just a little worried about Cas ," Sam said.
"He's uh- super suspicious of angel on human behavior," Gabriel laughed.
"He doesn't think it's you does he?" Sam asked and Gabriel shook his head.
"Hell no," Gabriel said quickly, "I can cover my moose tracks." Sam laughed and rolled his eyes at the stupid joke.
"Whatever it was funny to me," Gabriel said and let go of Sam's hand. He fell lazily onto Sam's bed, he kicked his shoes off and motioned Sam to come over. Sam laughed and sat on the bed next to Gabriel, taking his shoes off and laying next to him.
"Can I cuddle you or is that too far?" Gabriel smirked and Sam laughed, wrapping an arm around Gabriel and holding him close.
"You're so muscular Sam," Gabriel gawked and ran a hand along Sam's arm. Sam laughed at Gabriel who was now feeling Sam's chest and stomach.
"Maybe if you laid off the constant candy-" Sam started before Gabriel hushed him loudly, Sam laughed in response.
"Still bet you find me attractive," Gabriel said and crawled over top of Sam. Sam got a little nervous, not because he didn't want to, not because he wasn't turned on, but because he didn't know what he was doing. There was also other people in the house to think about. Sam put his hands on Gabriel's hips and pulled him down carefully, kissing him lustfully. Gabriel sat on Sam's lap and wrapped his legs around the giant's torso. Sam bit Gabriel's lower lip, earning a slight moan from the shorter man. Sam pulled away and they both whined internally.
"This is a bad place," Sam said quietly.
"Wait we were going further?" Gabriel raised an eyebrow, surprised to see Sam nod.
"Well-" Gabriel cleared his throat and Sam laughed at the nervous archangel.
"At least that was the goal," Sam said. Gabriel's blush made him almost red, Sam laughed even harder.
"Stop laughing, you make me nervous." Gabriel crossed his arms and Sam brought him into a hug.
"You're fine shortstack," Sam chuckled. Gabriel took a deep breath and closed his eyes, thinking about what he wanted to do.
"So what's the plan here," Sam asked and Gabriel shrugged.
"Let's just stay here for now, there will be some better opportunity for this when the other two are gone." Gabriel  said and Sam nodded, he put two hands on Gabriel's back.
"Right," Sam started to rub Gabriel's back, "let's not stop all the fun though." Sam smirked and kissed Gabriel again, Gabriel lazily rested his arms around Sam's neck. He pulled carefully to deepen their kiss, Sam smiled into it for no reason. He was just happy to have the archangel wrapped around him, Gabriel couldn't explain why Sam made him so nervous. He never was afraid, he was an almighty being for god sakes. Gabriel didn't usually like to feel less powerful, but something about this was different.
Gabriel felt Sam lick his lips, asking for entrance. Gabriel opened his mouth and let their tongues fight, he enjoyed the way the younger Winchester tasted. He learned quickly that he was a skilled lover, or at least a skilled kisser. Sam put his hands under Gabriel's shirt, feeling his bare back and Gabriel couldn't help but moan quietly. Gabriel started to feel Sam's body again, tracing all the lines and creases from his skin and old scars. He had fallen in love with Sam's soul a long time ago, he never really realized it until Sam described his feelings for Jessica one day. Gabriel thought about the very moment he fell in love with Sam.
Cries could be heard from the younger Winchester's room. Gabriel cracked open the door, he had been building a strong friendship with him for awhile now. Gabriel saw Sam with a picture, he quickly looked up and set it face down.
"Sam is everything okay?" Gabriel walked towards the broken looking man. Sam just shook his head and wiped his tear stained face, Gabriel closed the door with his grace.
"Talk to me," Gabriel scooted closer to Sam.
"Well uh- It's Jessica." Sam said and Gabriel nodded, he'd had talks about Jessica with Sam in the past.
"I just- she made me so happy. She was always there for me, encouraging me, making me smile, making me laugh, and there was just something about her." Sam sniffed and took a shaky breath. Gabriel nodded to show he was listening, but he didn't really understand.
"I loved her," Sam said and looked at Gabriel with tears in his eyes. Gabriel felt something for a second, he felt a little nauseous but also like he could smile. Gabriel put a hand on Sam's shoulder, the feeling came back.
"Life's a bitch- er, death's a bitch? Either way, shit ain't easy. We've just gotta persevere, I'm not the best at helping or giving advice. I can make you laugh and maybe even make you forget for a minute or two." Gabriel chuckled, Sam did too and the feeling came back. Sam hugged Gabriel and the feeling got even stronger.
"Thank you," Sam said and Gabriel smiled.
"Thank you Sam," Gabriel whispered.
Gabriel was ripped from his memory when he felt Sam's lips pull away from his.
"What were you thinking about?" Sam asked concerningly.
"You," Gabriel swallowed. The memory made him feel sad yet happy now that he understood the feelings he felt. Love.
"Elaborate?" Sam laughed and Gabriel smiled, he shook his head.
"The exact moment I found out what love felt like," Gabriel explained. Sam breathed a laugh and smiled.
"That's cheesy," Sam raised an eyebrow and Gabriel flipped him off.
"Fuck you," Gabriel said.
"Later," Sam smiled and kissed Gabriel's nose. Gabriel blushed again, mentally cursing the Winchester for making him feel so small physically and mentally.
"Hey Sammy?" Dean called from Sam's door, Gabriel quickly used his grace to lock the door. The doorknob rattled but the door didn't open, Dean knocked then.
"What Dean?" Sam said annoyed, he wrapped his arms around Gabriel and hugged him to his chest.
"Cas wants to talk to Gabriel, says he's in your room." Dean says suspiciously, Sam freezes and sighs.
"Yeah we'll be out in a second," Sam rolled his eyes.
"Great," Gabriel mumbled and unwrapped his legs from around Sam.
"Have fun," Sam kissed Gabriel quickly.
"We couldn't be even more suspicious," Gabriel laughed.
"Go," Sam laughed and Gabriel zapped away to Castiel.
"Hey Cassie," Gabriel said happily.
"Gabriel I know what's going on," Castiel said angrily.
"What's going on then Cas?" Gabriel raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms.
"You and Sam," Castiel said annoyed.
"What about us?" Gabriel said stubbornly with a smart ass grin.
"You've been doing things with him you aren't supposed to be doing," Castiel warned and Gabriel rolled his eyes.
"I am not doing anything wrong," Gabriel scoffed.
"Gabriel you know if someone found that grace you could be in a lot of trouble," Castiel sighed.
"I can't help it Cas," Gabriel paced back and forth, "even before we did anything I had an urge to put the grace on him."
"What do you mean Gabriel?" Castiel worried.
"Before we did kissed, I still had the grace on him it was just very weak. I only used it when he was sleeping." Gabriel admitted and Castiel tilted his head to the side, squinting his eyes.
"Gabriel you actually have- it's worse than I thought." Castiel trailed off and Gabriel stopped pacing.
"What?" Gabriel asked loudly.
"You're actually in love with him, so the grace isn't temporary. It's not a one time thing, is it?" Castiel worried and Gabriel nodded, biting his lip.
"Cas I'm- I'm sorry," Gabriel apologized, "but this isn't something we can fix."
"Yes it is, you have to stop." Castiel said, looking at Gabriel seriously.
"Well that's not happening," Gabriel smirked sarcastically.
"You're irresponsible and stubborn," Castiel whispered, "you can't just follow the rules."
"When the rules don't actually hurt anyone, then I guess I could care less." Gabriel smirked and held his fingers up, signaling he was going to snap his fingers and leave. Castiel sighed and walked away, frustrated by the archangel's stubborness. Gabriel snapped his fingers and went back to Sam's room, Dean and Sam were sitting on the bed talking.
"Hey kiddo," Gabriel smirked at Dean.
"Hey. Is Cas okay?" Dean asked Gabriel and Gabriel nodded.
"He's mad at me," Gabriel said, "but otherwise he's okay."
"What happened?" Sam asked and Gabriel shook his head.
"I don't want to talk about it," Gabriel said quietly. Sam gave him a worried look and Gabriel shook his head again.
"Don't worry, either of you. Everything is fine." Gabriel laughed it off, in all honesty he didn't think much of the situation anyways. His only worry was Castiel telling Dean about what was happening, just because Dean was nice to him doesn't mean he still doesn't want to kill him.
"Alright I'll leave you alone Sammy," Dean said and stood up.
"We have a case tomorrow, we've gotta go talk to some people. Rest up tonight Sam." Dean says before walking out of the room, leaving the door open.
"Bye Dean," Sam waves. Gabriel sat on the floor and picked at one of his fingernails.
"Everything okay?" Sam asked and laid down on the bed, his face level with Gabriel's face.
"He knows," Gabriel mouthed silently.
"What?" Sam jumped, Gabriel nodded.
"How the hell did he find out?" Sam asked loudly, Gabriel shrugged.
"No idea," Gabriel said, "I wouldn't worry too much about it though."
"It's really nothing," Gabriel added.
"Okay I trust you," Sam sighed sarcastically. Gabriel poked Sam's nose with his pointer finger and smiled, Sam smiled back. Gabriel looked at the door, just to be safe, and kissed Sam's nose. Sam closed his eyes gently, Gabriel leaned against the bed next to Sam's face. They both drifted to sleep, it was only about 5 'o'clock. Castiel walked by the room and saw them, he made a noise of disgust before going somewhere away from the bunker. When Dean saw them the story was different, he thought about waking them up. Seeing as they were just friends the situation would be kind of awkward, but were they just friends. They way they talked, the way they acted, and the amount of time they spend together. Dean shrugged and decided to ask Sam later, he could very easily get used to the Trickster. Gabriel had been nice and hadn't done anything to harm anyone recently, or the time in which he was at the bunker.
A few hours later
"Gabe, wake up." Sam shook Gabriel's shoulder, Gabriel opened his eyes and smiled.
"Hey," Gabriel said hoarsely.
"Get in the bed, it's like 2 in the morning and sleeping while sitting can't be healthy." Sam said and Gabriel climbed into the bed. He was quick to crawl into Sam's arms and cuddle his chest, he felt Sam drape his arms around him and hold him like a teddy bear.
"Good night," Sam yawned.
"Night baby," Gabriel whispered before they fell back to sleep
Morning now
"Sam! Gabe! I got breakfast!" Dean yelled from the open door, Sam and Gabriel slowly woke up, Gabriel didn't realize the door was still open since his face was in Sam's chest.
"Dean it's too early to have this discussion," Sam yawned. Dean nodded in agreement with a smile on his face.
"I don't really need one, this is pretty cute not gonna lie." Dean laughed snd walked away, Gabriel had fallen back to sleep.
"For someone who doesn't need sleep you are hard to wake up," Sam said.
"I'm workin' on it," Gabriel yawned and snuggled closer to Sam's chest. Sam just laughed and pulled Gabriel closer to him.
"I don't wanna," Gabriel whined.
"Too bad," Sam said and kissed the top of Gabriel's head, "Dean just found out so we have to have that lovely conversation."
"What! How?" Gabriel looked up and pulled his head out of Sam's chest.
"He walked in just now, we left the door open yesterday." Sam answer and Gabriel rubbed his face.
"Fuuuck," Gabriel groaned.
"Actually he seemed pretty okay with it," Sam said happily.
"How do you think that?" Gabriel mumbled.
"He said it was cute and he said he didn't really need an explanation," Sam said.
"Really? Great news then huh?" Gabriel laughed and Sam smiled, he pat Gabriel's back to signal him to stand up.
"Up," Sam said and Gabriel stood up with much complaint. They walked out to see Dean and Castiel packing for the hunt, Dean smiled at the other two as they walked in.
"Eat Sammy," Dean said. Sam nodded silently and sat to eat, Gabriel stretched and cracked his back.
"So Gabriel," Dean said, "didn't know you were a bottom." Gabriel blushed bright red and laughed, Sam held a hand over his mouth to avoid spitting food everywhere from laughing.
"Didn't need to know," Dean whispered.
"Well, it was coming out someday wasn't it?" Gabriel laughed, his face still very very red.
"I guess, I just worry about the angel thing." Dean shurgged and set a gun into a bag.
"Eh, I'll be okay," Gabriel said and Castiel glared, "when brother stops glaring evilly at me."
"I don't hate you Gabriel," Dean concluded, "just don't make me."
"Understood," Gabriel said kindly.
"Break his heart, I break your face." Dean added and held up a fist for reference, Gabriel laughed.
"You two behave yourselves now, this talk is over." Dean laughed and shook his head, zipping up the duffle bag. Gabriel walked over to the couch and sat next to Sam who was a chewing his last mouthful of cereal.
"That went better than expected," Gabriel said quietly.
"I know," Sam replied at the same low volume.
"Can't wait until we can ask them for privacy and they won't hesitate to say yes," Sam smirked. Gabriel laughed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"I thought I made innuendos too much," Gabriel sighed. Sam smiled and kissed Gabriel gently.
"I had to have learned from the best."
