"Come on this is ridiculous," Gabriel complained as Sam held the umbrella above his head.
"I don't want to get wet I don't know how else to do it we are two different heights," Sam rolled his eyes and held the umbrella over Gabriel's head. This caused Sam to get rained on by the heavy and roughly, hurting their skin as it hit them.
"Now I'm getting wet!" Sam whined and Gabriel laughed, an idea formed in Gabriel's head. Sam looked at Gabriel, he was smirking and looking at Sam thoughtfully.
"Don't," Sam warned.
"But it's the only way Samich and it's fun, it looks so cute too." Gabriel pleaded and Sam laughed, he rolled his eyes.
"Fine just don't get candy in my hair again," Sam mumbled and Gabriel hopped on to Sam's back.
"Thank you," Gabriel nuzzled into Sam's hair. Gabriel held the umbrella above their heads and Sam walked them back to the hotel, there was a loud thundering noise (thunder duh) and Sam sped up his walking towards the hotel.
"Times like this make me want my grace back," Gabriel laughed. They walked to the door and Gabriel hopped off of Sam's back, they opened the door and Dean was sitting there watching TV.
"Hey," Dean laughed and looked over at them.
"Thanks for housing me because life is a struggle without grace," Gabriel scoffed and fell onto Sam's bed.
"You're getting the bed wet dude, my bed." Sam walked over to Gabriel and lifted him off of the bed.
"Noooooo put me doooooown," Gabriel whined and Dean laughed.
"You're getting my bed wet," Sam said and laid Gabriel back down on the bed.
"Sleep on the couch that I've been sleeping on," Gabriel muttered.
"Or since I'm also wet," Sam fell next to Gabriel on the bed, "I sleep here with you."
"Uuuuuuh, why don't we put dry clothes on and sleep like heterosexuals?" Gabriel said, trying to sound weirded out by Sam. In all honesty, Gabriel wanted Sam to stay in that bed with him. He wanted to watch Sam take off his wet clothes and climb into the bed with him, he-
"Gabe! Everything okay?" Sam snapped his fingers in Gabriel's face, Gabriel blushed and nodded. Sam smiled and Dean cleared his throat, Gabriel and Sam had their faces less than an inch apart.
"Oh, right. I'm going to uh- change." Sam stuttered and stood up, he grabbed his clothes and went to the bathroom.
"What the hell was that?" Dean asked Gabriel quietly and angrily.
"What is what Dean?" Gabriel defended, confused by Dean's anger.
"Looking at Sam like that, what was going through your demented head?" Dean said a little louder and stood up, he pointed at Gabriel and tilted his head to the side.
"Nothing! I have no reason to hurt either of you." Gabriel said, hurt in his voice.
"Why are you hanging around him so much, you look at each other weird too, why do you laugh so much together, why are you guys-" Dean started to question out loud, then realization hit his face.
"Dean," Gabriel swallowed and raised an eyebrow.
"You guys are- oh hell no," Dean said disgustedly.
"We're what Dean?" Gabriel asked and Dean rolled his eyes, Sam walked out of the bathroom and noticed the tension in the room.
"What's going on, are you guys seriously fighting again?" Sam asked annoyed, he walked over to the couch and sat down.
"I think you two have been hiding something, Sam what the fuck is wrong with you?" Dean said and Sam bitch faced him.
"What are you talking about Dean? Gabriel, what did you say to him?" Sam asked and looked at the both of them.
"I didn't say anything, he started to trail off and then he told me we were doing something. What do you think we're doing Dean?" Gabriel asked and Dean pointed at Sam.
"You're doing each other," Dean shouted. Sam and Gabriel looked at each other and turned red, they both looked back at Dean a second later.
"Dean uh- I uh- we uh-" Sam stuttered and Dean rolled his eyes.
"Save it," Dean grumbled and sat back down on his bed.
"No, I won't save it. What is the problem?" Gabriel crosses his arms, Sam is unable to speak coherently.
"You are an asshole, a murderer, and a nuisance. I wish I never let Sam convince me to bring you into our lives! Turns out he has the hots for you and that seems to make him forget how much of a douche you really are. You know what you've done and you know why I am angry about this." Dean said, his voice angrier with each sentence, Gabriel nodded.
"I get it," Gabriel whispered.
"No. No Dean, you agreed. We weren't doing this again, this same battle. All you ever seem to do is beat him down, you know that hurts. Right?" Sam said and walked towards Dean.
"I'm not the one who-" Dean started but Sam interrupted.
"I said we aren't doing this," Sam said sternly.
"Sam I can just go, I can-" Gabriel started.
"NO, I SAID NO!" Sam yelled and ran a hand through his hair, he didn't want to yell or be like this but he had to.
"You're not going anywhere," Sam pointed to Gabriel.
"And me and you can talk when you aren't going to be a jerk," Sam pointed to Dean.
"I'm making a-" Dean started.
"Shut up," Sam said and stuck his hands out.
"Sam please just relax, lay down before you burst a blood vessel." Gabriel said and Sam took a few deep breaths.
"You're right," Sam said quietly, "I'm going outside for a minute."
"There's a storm Sam," Dean said.
"I'll be fine," Sam said and walked out of the room. He didn't grab the umbrella and Gabriel sighed as he walked out, Gabriel laid down on the couch he had been sleeping on for the past few days. He curled up small and closed his eyes, Dean watched him for a second before he walked outside. Sam was standing under a small overhang so he wasn't getting wet.
"Sam," Dean called and Sam looked at Dean.
"Dean," was all Sam was able to conjure up.
"Everything okay? You seemed a little angrier than the last time we had that fight when he first came to the bunker graceless." Dean shrugged and Sam looked at Dean with a pissy expression.
"Angrier than usual? Why are you surprised I'm in-" Sam stopped and sighed, he stared off into the dark clouds and the pouring rain.
" You're what Sam?" Dean asked quietly, Sam continued to listen to the rainfall.
"I'm in love with him Dean," Sam said quietly. Dean almost didn't hear him over the sound of heavy rain, a loud crash of thunder was heard and they saw a flash of light.
"That's lightning, let's go inside and talk in the morning. I'm sorry for lashing out, I just don't really know the whole situation." Dean said and Sam listened but didn't respond, they walked into the room and Sam sat on the edge of his bed. Dean laid down on his bed and turned the lights out, he pulled the covers over him and he heard Dean's snoring a few minutes later. Sam stood up and walked over to the couch Gabriel; was curled up in, he shook Gabriel's shoulder gently.
"Gabe, wake up." Sam whispered and Gabriel blinked his eyes open, he held his hand out and felt Sam's face.
"Hey Samshine it's bedtime go back to your bed," Gabriel whispered and grabbed Sam's hand tiredly. Gabriel brought Sam's hand to his face and kissed it before he cuddled it.
"Come with me," Sam whispered and Gabriel smiled.
"Carry me please," Gabriel yawned and Sam picked Gabriel up carefully. He laid Gabriel on the bed, Sam laid next to him and Gabriel buried his face into Sam's chest. Gabriel fell asleep seconds later with a quiet snore, Sam ran his hand through Gabriel's hair and tried to sleep but ended up laying there for an hour in silence.Sam woke up to the sound of annoying camera clicks, he held his hands over his face and heard Dean giggling.
"Augh Dean," Sam said annoyed. Dean was standing there taking pictures with his phone of the two cuddling on the bed.
"It's not funny you're such a dick," Sam smiled slightly and crawled out of the bed. Dean looked through the pictures on his phone and laughed at them.
"Does this mean you're cool with this at least?" Sam asked, still annoyed by Dean entirely.
"No but I guess I can't control your life, I may hate him but I'm still gonna love you Sammy." Dean explained and inside Sam was hurt but he was also pleased that he was okay with it.
"Thanks, I guess, but that's pretty shitty to say about him." Sam said and Dean rolled his eyes.
"I'm not fighting this anymore," Dean said finally.
"Saaaaaaaaaaam what the hell it's cold?" Gabriel whined from the bed where he was laying.
"Put a blanket on you're not five," Sam laughed.
"But it's still cold I hate being human," Gabriel complained and Sam rollled his eyes. He started to walk towards the bed where Gabriel was laying, curled up in the blankets like he was freezing to death.
"You're so cute," Sam cooed and kissed Gabriel's forehead.
"Sure whatever, please make me not be cold anymore." Gabriel pouted and Sam just laughed at him again.
"I can't really do much about you being cold, put a jacket and blankets on." Sam said and Gabriel stuck out his lower lip, giving Sam puppy eyes.
"Give me hugs," Gabriel said and Sam laughed. He leaned down on the bed and gave Gabriel a hug and rubbed his body to make some friction, helping him warm up a little bit.
"Nooooo stay here," Gabriel pulled Sam down as he tried to pull away.
"Fine you spoiled brat," Sam said. He laid back down in the bed and held Gabriel to his chest, Gabriel sighed contently and Dean made a pretend gagging noise before giggling.
"Take a picture it'll last longer," Gabriel called.
"He already took pictures unfortunately," Sam sighed, "you were still asleep."
"Whatever I love you Samsquatch," Gabriel said.
"Love you too," Sam said and held Gabriel closer.
