I noticed these weird little things about Sam, nothing bad it was just out of the ordinary.

There was the time where he said he needed me, that entire time we spent together was bonding and just... too intimate.

Then there's now, whenever we'd go out and eat I'd slide into a booth first and Sam slid in next to me. All to ungracefully for his long legs being in the way. He'd sit and scoot toward me, so close our legs would touch. He'd nudge our feet and thighs closer until we were pressed together, he did it slow as if checking for consent in some sort of way before pressing them together fully.

There was also whenever I'd pass something to Sam, anything from handing him a book to handing him a beer. He'd linger his fingers over mine, sometimes wrapping his fingers around mine for a moment. But he was always sure that our fingers at least nudged whenever he'd hand me something or I'd hand him something.

There was other things like lingering touches on the shoulder, longing stares, joking flirtation, and invading personal space. Sure I flirted a lot with everyone, but Sam was pinning for me in a very obvious way.

After so long I decided to play back, I was sitting in the library reading with Sam silently for a case.

"Could you hand me that book?" I asked and slammed my book closed, pointing to another across the table. He handed it to me, fingers nudging mine gently.

"Thanks love," I said and I noticed Sam blush a little.

"Sure," he muttered a second later. I flashed a little smile before reading the book he handed me, going quiet again. After so long we'd finish taking notes, deciding it was time to sleep.

"I'm gonna sleep and you're going to as well darling," I said and he raised an eyebrow at me as I stood up.

"Am I?" He joked and I nodded, standing an arms distance from him.

"Being your good friend I'd like to be sure you get a healthy amount of sleep," I said and picked a piece of lint off his shirt, "wouldn't want those pretty eyes to get bags now." Sam was a little speechless, he smiled and stood up.

"Yeah okay," he said and walked past me. As he did, he brushed against me purposely. I smiled to myself and walked to my room, flirting back was definitely a good idea.

...

"Morning," Sam hummed from the coffee pot as I walked in the room.

"Mm," I grunted back sleepily.

"You're so not a morning person," Sam chuckled.

"Is anyone?" I mumbled and shuffled towards the pot of coffee to make my cup, I lazily poured it.

"I am after about half a cup," Sam said and I smiled a little.

"Mine takes like two," I grumbled before sipping the hot brew. I peeked up at Sam who was watching me drink, I cocked an eyebrow at him and he winked. I could've choked on my drink if I wasn't careful.

"Morning guys," Dean walked in and I huffed, "have everything ready?" Ruin my damn fun.

...

"Can I sit in the back with you?" Sam asked and I smiled, I nodded and he crawled into the backseat next to me.

"So the connection is that they're targetting gay people," Dean said and glared at Castiel, "well couples."

"You think it has something to do with the homophobic church in that neighborhood," I grumbled and crossed my arms.

"The what?" Sam asked and turned to me, I looked at him and rolled my eyes.

"There's a church there and it's super anti-lgbt," I said, "it's disgusting."
