Baby Jack AU

"Daddy!" The blonde haired baby stuck his chubby arms in the air, grasping for Sam's hair as he lifted him.
"I'm not your dad dude," Sam chuckled and tucked his hair out of the almost two year old's reach.
"Stop calling him dude he's a baby," Gabriel laughed and walked beside the taller man.
"Daddy," Jack gurgled with a small giggle.
"He's so cute," Gabriel cooed and bent over to pick up a rattle from the floor. He shook it over Jack's arms, Jack giggling and wrapping his fingers around the plastic. He shook it eagerly and laughed, Sam smiling and bouncing him slightly.
"He keeps calling me dad," Sam turned to Gabriel.
"Well it's a mouthful for a baby to say step uncle," Gabriel raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms, "besides... you're the closest thing he has to a father right now."
"What about you?" Sam questioned and Gabriel rolled his eyes.
"I'm more of a mom," Gabriel joked and Sam barked a laugh, "he's gonna call us dad it's bound to happen."
"Right," Sam turned back to the child, "I hate to say it but not being able to hunt as much kinda sucks."
"Stay at home dad is a full time job huh?" Gabriel smirked and pressed a kiss to Sam's cheek, "you're hunting tomorrow so you'll live."
"I'll be sure to leave a few bottles in the fridge then," Sam mumbled.
"You alright?" Gabriel asked and pressed his hands around Sam's shoulders, he massaged them and laid his face between the taller man's shoulders.
"Yeah I'm a little stressed I guess," he answered.
"Let me take Jack down to play with Cas while we take the rest of the day to ourselves," Gabriel said and Sam passed off Jack. Gabriel and Sam walked together to Dean's room, they were sitting in bed cuddling and watching a movie.
"You mind watching the nephlim for a bit while we go out?" Gabriel joked and Jack gurgled happily.
"Ca," Jack pointed his rattle at Castiel before jamming it in his own mouth.
"He's actually in a good mood and will behave," Gabriel offered and Dean smiled.
"We'll take him," Dean stuck out his arms.
"Beeeeean," Jack squealed and gurgled some more.
"You know Sammy's first word was Bean," Dean chuckled and sat him between the couple. Jack took his arms and over excitedly wrapped Castiel's arm into a hug, he dropped his rattle into the angel's lap.
"Ca," Jack squealed some more.
"Let me get his mat before his mojo goes whack," Gabriel said and rushed to the child's room. He grabbed a mat with a symbol on it and tossed it on a nearby table, Jack had it so that he couldn't use his grace since he was too young to know how.
"Buh bye Jack," Gabriel waved.
"Love you Jack," Sam smiled and Jack waved his chubby arms.
"Bye Daddy bye Bree," Jack started to clap his fingers to his palm and the couple laughed before leaving.
"I love him to death but god damn I wasn't ready to be a parent," Sam huffed, "ever."
"Well neither was I but here we are," Gabriel smiled with half his mouth, "his parents may have their shortcomings but we're not doing this alone. The other two do really well with taking care of him, we also need to go out and get diapers."
"Great," Sam laughed and Gabriel sighed, "let's go out and see a movie or something."
"Can we go to the library, I want to read the Love Simon book?" Gabriel asked and Sam laughed.
"It's called 'Simon Versus The Homo Sapien Agenda'," Sam corrected and Gabriel rolled his eyes.
"Same thing," Gabriel grabbed Sam's hand and walked them out of the bunker and to the Impala.

Sam laid on Gabriel's shoulder, the sun setting over the hills in the park. They were each reading their own book silently just enjoying one another's company, the wind of fall was starting to get colder and colder as the night came closer.
"You're freezing Gabriel," Sam said and lifted his head up. He shrugged off his jacket and wrapped it over Gabriel's shoulders, Gabriel cuddled into it and Sam laid back on his shoulder while they continued to read.
"Thank you baby," Gabriel whispered and pressed a kiss to Sam's forehead.
"I love you," Sam responded.
"I love you too," Gabriel said and they started to read again.
"We've still gotta get diapers," Gabriel mumbled and Sam rolled his eyes.
"When it's too dark to see the words on the page I'll consider it," Sam huffed and Gabriel chuckled.
"Fine with me," Gabriel hummed happily and adjusted his posture.
