Me and Gabriel were sitting on an old car, in the Apocalypse world. We were taking a little bit of time to cool off, I was back to life and Gabriel somehow snuck me out of the crowd with him for a bit.
"So how's the grace regenerating?" I asked and I looked at my hand that was wrapped around the tailgate of the truck, Gabriel's wasn't too far from mine I could easily shimmy a finger over his. Just to know what it feels like to touch him skin to skin.
"I have my wings in some form which is nice," Gabriel shrugged and looked at his dangling feet.
"I've only seen them after your death," I joked and he smiled. He looked up at me and our eye contact held, my lip twitched at the corner.
"Here," Gabriel said and looked away. There was a loud wind-like sound, three pairs of gold wings spread out behind the short archangel. I looked at them in awe, they were beautiful and the golden color was just so utterly Gabriel.
"They're just gorgeous Gabriel damn," I breathed and looked at his face for a moment to see him blushing. As soon as I registered the adorable red prickling on Gabriel's face, there was a wing wrapped around me gently. The act felt so trusting, so intimate. I leaned toward Gabriel without actually touching him, I went past my better judgement and placed my hand over his. I wrapped my fingers around his and he huffed, I met his glance again and we both smiled.
"Thanks for taking care of me when I came in," Gabriel muttered and looked at our hands.
"You needed it," I said and looked at our hands too, "I just wanted you to be okay."
"Why, after all I did?" Gabriel whispered and I hummed.
"You didn't do anything so don't worry about it," I answered jokingly, "so shut up and let me care about you."
"Sure kiddo," Gabriel laughed and tightened his grip on my hand. His wings fluttered and I snapped my gaze to them, I looked at his face to see him blushing again.
"A little self concious," Gabriel mumbled and tightened his grip again, "feel like someone's watching us."
"No one's near us," I reassured and looked around, "no one's watching." I met his eyes again and he was still blushing lightly, he smiled sheepishly and I huffed a laugh. His grip on my hand lessened and I started to rub my thumb against his hand.
"SAM! GABE! WHERE'D YOU GUYS GO?" Dean's voice echoed, I tucked some hair behind my ear and stood up. I didn't let go of Gabriel's hand until he was standing too, he shrugged his wings away and we walked to Dean and the group. I blinked and realized how... intimate of a moment I just had, with Gabriel.
...
"Gabriel no!" Dean yelled and I stared at Lucifer, Gabriel, and Michael.
"Gabriel please don't do this," I warned and grabbed his forearm.
"I have to I'm not running anymore," Gabriel said quietly. I blinked at him and he gave me a serious look, I closed my eyes and leaned forward. If Gabriel did die, I had to do this before he died. I met his lips and he froze in surprise, I had my grip on the collar of his shirt and he hesitantly cupped my jaw before kissing back. I was happy he kissed back, but I didn't want him to go.
"What an endearing sight," Lucifer sarcastically cooed and I pulled off of him. Gabriel tipped me sad and understanding smile, I looked at Dean who blinked in confusion. We both looked back at Gabriel who was fighting the other two archangels, Michael knocked him to the ground and Gabriel created multiple clones of himself. I didn't know who was the real Gabriel aince there was four of them.
"Easy," Lucifer said and one of the Gabriel's vanished. Someone knocked Lucifer against a tree and another one was shoving a blade at Michael, two Gabriels were standing and watching patiently. One of them turned around and darted to me and Dean, pushing us into the rift without a word. We got back to the bunker, tumbling to the floor ungracefully. Gabriel fell right on top of Dean, I looked over and he winked at me before rolling off of the older hunter. He groaned and closed his eyes, a hand on his chest as he breathed heavily.
"There goes all that grace I regenerated," Gabriel groaned and Dean stood up.
"What the hell happened?" Dean questioned at me Gabriel who were still laying on the floor, I sat up criss cross and shrugged.
"Those other Gabriels have a lot of my grace," Gabriel explained and stood up, "so a lot of grace is on the other side but we're safe for now."
"Awesome," Dean said, "and everyone made it!" There was cheering and I glanced up, smiling at all the AU!Versions of our loved ones. I looked at Gabriel who smirked and stuck his hand out, I rolled my eyes affectionately and used his hand to help me stand.
"So," I peered down at Gabriel.
"So," Gabriel repeated with a bright blush.
"You don't hate me for that do you?" I asked nervously and he smiled, shaking his head no.
"Of course not," Gabriel smiled, "you care it was emotional to say the least." I huffed a laugh and looked down, Gabriel picked my head back up by putting his fingers under my chin.
"Now," Gabriel said, "I'm going to kiss you a bit more before your brother kills me." I cocked an eyebrow and laughed, moving forward to connect our lips again. I could feel the hotness of his cheeks against my nose, I chuckled in my chest while I continued kissing him. There was a hard thump on my back and I pulled away from Gabriel, Dean had punched me and pretty hard.
"Dean," I winced and rubbed my shoulder.
"Why the hell are you making out with Gabriel?" Dean crossed his arms, looking between me and Gabriel.
"I wanted to," I shrugged and Gabriel laughed heartily behind me making me slightly proud.
"I'm just so confused," Dean shook his head.
"We can talk later Dean," I smirked and turned around to look at Gabriel.
"Care about you too Sammich," Gabriel crossed his arms.
"Good," I smiled giving him a final kiss on his nose before going with Dean and Cas.
