Dean was getting tired of the archangel not admitting his feelings towards his younger brother, it had been going on for so long. Although Sam and Gabriel both denied everything, it was a battle to deal with the tension between them. It was so strong you could practically SEE it.

"Damn it, Gabe, why don't you just tell him you like him already?" Dean said loudly and Gabriel widened his eyes.

"I do not like him that's why," he whispered angrily, "now keep your voice down!"

"Sam is asleep in your lap and you expect me to believe that," Dean retorted and Gabriel shushed him. A quiet snore slipped from Sam's lips, Gabriel smiled a little at it and Dean rolled his eyes. Dean smirked and tapped his fingers, wondering if he should say what he wanted to say.

"I swear to god if you mention it I'll rip off your ears," Gabriel growled and Dean snickered.

"Am I not supposed to bring up that time you guys totally kissed," Dean snarked and Gabriel flushed red.

"I fell," Gabriel pouted.

"Sure but you still leaned in," Dean smirked, "retell the story so I can see what other holes I can poke in it."

"We were playing Twister and he was on top of me," Gabriel mumbled and Dean could tell he was trying hard to not touch the man below him, "I fell and my leg kicked his leg out from under him and he fell down in the most opportune place. I wasn't gonna miss my chance you kn-" Gabriel stopped himself but it was too late, Dean pointed at him with a huge grin on his face.

"You admit it," Dean stood up and shouted. Gabriel's eyes widened and his face blushed, he shushed Dean as he laughed. Saying Dean was being loud was an understatement, Sam moved and grunted. He buried his face into Gabriel's leg and put his hands on the back of his head, Gabriel sighed and put a soft hand on Sam's shoulder. He had ultimately given up on hiding, actually exposing his feelings to Dean.

"We don't talk about it," Gabriel mumbled, "it's not awkward or anything we just pretend it didn't happen."

"Just say something to him," Dean urged and Gabriel huffed.

"Is he even gay?" Gabriel said annoyedly, trying to talk himself and Dean out of the idea Dean had.

"Trust me," Dean grimaced, "I found out the hard way when he was like 16."

"Oh," Gabriel said simply, "so why would he show interest in me?"

"Because the tension between you two is so strong I can physically see it," Dean groaned and Gabriel continued to blush, "and he's pulling this." Dean motioned to Sam who was nuzzled close to Gabriel's thigh, Gabriel had his hand on Sam's shoulder and was rubbing it absentmindedly. Gabriel realized what he was doing and he retracted his hand quickly, wincing audibly making Dean laugh more.

"You treat him like he's a fire," Dean said, and swallowed, "like if you get too close you'll burn yourself."

"Sorta," Gabriel mumbled and Dean nodded. That was the end of what Gabriel had to say, there would be no elaboration. Sam moved again after Gabriel moved his hand, this time he woke up. He sat up and stretched his arms over his head, Dean smirking a little at the corner of his mouth and Gabriel snarled at him before looking at Sam.

"Morning Princess Samantha," Gabriel piped up and Sam nodded with a yawn.

"I'm sore," Sam mumbled and stretched his obnoxiously large arms. Everything about him is huge, isn't it? Gabriel thought to himself before widening his eyes, shocked but also not shocked by his own thoughts.

"You want to be healed?" Gabriel offered and held his fingers up, Sam moved forward and Gabriel pressed his fingers to his forehead. Gabriel watched Sam's eyes flutter closed at the touch of his fingers, he enjoyed the caring gesture and they both knew that. But neither would admit it to themselves or anyone else, the moment was over before it even began.

"Thanks," Sam said and yawned again. Gabriel simply nodded and Dean gave Gabriel a look, a look that read you know what to do before he left the room. He made a comment about the bathroom as he walked away, Gabriel looked at his fingers and fidgetted with them.

"Everything okay?" Sam asked gently and Gabriel's heart clenched, his voice was too tender too caring. It was a new feeling to Gabriel, unfamiliar in character from anyone he'd known.

"No," Gabriel answered bluntly, "Dean wants us to talk about the Twister night."

"Oh," Sam says nervously, "i-it was just an accident I mean that was is." Gabriel's heart shattered into pieces, his stomach drops and he nodded a little.

"At first yes," Gabriel grew the courage he knew he had to get it off his chest now, "but I moved into it because I had the opportunity."

"You mean you kicked me on purpose," Sam questioned.

"No that part was an accident," Gabriel breathed a small laugh, "but when our lips touched by accident I didn't pull away like I should've. We both knew that but we ignored it, to avoid awkwardness or whatever, and I wanted to say I like you in that way. I'm sorry you probably don't think the same but it's... fine. I just wanted you to know why I did what I did, so it wasn't hanging around our heads anymore." It felt like a rant, Gabriel felt he overstepped or rambled too much. Sam was silent, he looked down at Gabriel's hands, thinking of what to say.

"I leaned in," Sam said but it was barely audible, "I was the one who leaned in."

"What?" Gabriel asked, unsure if he heard correctly. Sam picked up his head and scrunched his eyebrows in confusion, looking at Gabriel with a confused puppy face.

"I thought I was the one who leaned in," Sam repeated, "I thought that I would have to tell you exactly what you told me."

"No I actually did go in for more than... yeah," Gabriel said and rubbed the back of his neck.

"You didn't though," Sam shook his head, "I did. I thought I broke a boundary so I figured it was forgiven and forgotten, I apologized for overstepping and figured it was just unremembered. Did you not understand when I apologized before?"

"I guess not," Gabriel laughed, "so we kissed?"

"We did," Sam smiled a little.

"Can we do it again?" Gabriel asked, shyness forgotten in its entirety.

"Yes," Sam laughed and moved his hand to cradle Gabriel's face. Their lips met and Gabriel put his hand in Sam's hair, twisting it around his fingers gently and marveling secretly at the softness of it. Stop fangirling oh my dad just kiss the man, be semi-normal about this! Gabriel cursed at himself because he noticed he was taking in every detail. His hair, his lips, he moved his hand to the back of his neck and traced every contour. He wanted to know them so well he could describe them to anyone and they'd know what it's like to kiss him, he wanted to be able to keep all these details for himself. He got what he wanted, he felt perfection, and he needed every detail of it. When they separated, Sam had no breath left and Gabriel wondered for a moment. Shit, he needs to breathe shit shit shit!

"Now what?" Sam asked, still nervous even if Gabriel was fine now. It was obvious Sam had something else on his mind, the question posing as evidence.

"We can be more than friends since I just sucked the breath out of you from your lips," Gabriel raised an eyebrow and Sam laughed. His smile's so perfect, it's so cute how he drops his head or turns to the side a little. So wide and so toothful, so true and genuine.

"I'd like that," he laughed out.
