Stiles closed his eyes, his body unwinding. For a long time he finally felt actually relaxed, at peace.
Sometimes his fingers would flex, trying to get used to the more powerful magic warming his body.
His peace was interrupted as the doors opened. The Lord of Souls stepped through warily.
Stiles noticed how he did not meet his eyes and knelt as soon as Stiles looked at him.
"The other Lords will be here soon, they will be gathering in your court room to greet you. I can show you around a little if you want?" The Lord of Souls asked carefully.
That sounded like a good idea but he wasn't looking forward to greeting the other Lords yet.
The Lord of Souls seemed to see right through his hesitation.
"I can tell the other Lords you would like them to wait a couple more days if you like?"
Stiles blinked a little...
Oh yeah, he could do that now.
But he shook his head.
"No, I'll see them. You said you could show me around before that though?"
Ren nodded eagerly.
After that Ren showed him around the Grand Masters home, now his home he supposed. He could tell it had been built for the Grand Master as most things though slightly smaller than average were big enough to make him almost feel like he was normal sized.
Ren only showed him the important rooms. Where the people that worked under him slept, how to get into the garden, where the court room was and his own room. To Stiles surprise unlike the Lord of Minds place, there weren't that many important rooms, Lord of Souls explained to him that that was because the Grand Master could perform most tasks without needing anyone to do it for him, that's why there where so servants around because the Grand Master didn't really need them.
At the end of the tour Ren left Stiles outside his room, once he was sure Stiles knew how to get back up to his throne room.
His own room was fit for royalty but what really caught Stiles eye was a huge mirror next to his giant sized bed.
Everything seemed to freeze in time.
I haven't properly seen myself since my drinking the silver soul Stiles realised in shock.
He looked... different.
Apart from the obvios over the fact he was a giant now the other changes startled him.
His hair was longer and his face looked more sharply angled but the real stunner where his eyes...
They were glowing golden with such intensity Stiles could hardly look at himself.
And his body!
Stiles swore under his breath.
He not could practically see the new power seeping from his skin but how much magic he had showed physically as well. He was a monster!
Stiles stared at arms, how had not noticed this?!
He was buff.
Like really buff..
He remembered how Kirah told him working with your magic could be seen as a work out and the stronger you were with your magic the stronger you were physically.
Stiles slowly undid his dark cloak, he hesitantly ran his fingers down his chest, before he had the beginnings of a six pack, now he had an eight pack and it was very clear to see.
His fingers got slowly slid over them, feeling the ridges that never used to be there.
As he admired himself in the mirror he did notice the interesting runes that now decorated his body. He couldn't work out what a single one of them meant but he could see clearly the wisps of magic they were giving of. His whole body was almost glowing with the amount of energy that was thrumming beneath his skin.
The other thing was was obvious was that he was a lot thicker than before, he could literally see the new strength of his magic due to basically how musclier he had become.
Stiles slowly lifted his hand, he clenched his fingers into a fist, he closed his eyes for a second, concentrating on that movement, he could feel the new power rush through his veins whenever he moved.
He then called upon his magic, instead of coming from his hands like he'd expected it to, without warning magic rushed through his body like a tsunami, then his magic rushed to the surface. With no warning his own magic was suddenly there, in front of him but instead of just in circling his hand, he was circling his own body. His golden and hazel energy was so bright, just like his eyes.
And it felt amazing.
Stiles chuckled then he broke out into full blown laughter. Laughing in joy at what he was feeling. Laughing in relief that it seemed to over and laughing in slight disbelief thus this happening.
Then he felt something odd.
Stiles stopped himself laughing, he slowly focused on what he was feeling but then he noticed some threads come into view, they were bright and a different colour.
It was like how he could feel himself connected to all the sorcerers in this world but that was just a feeling, these threads connecting him to certain sorcerous had just appeared in front of him, leading outside his room.
Stiles hesitantly reached out and touched one of the threads. Fire danced along his fingers as soon as he touched it but it didn't burn.
Lord of Fire.
Oh...
So that's what I'm looking at.
Each thread were connected to the Lords...
They were here.
