The more minutes ticked by, the weaker Stiles felt.

Come on, come on!

It was achingly slow but finally Stiles started to feel the silver soul retreating, refocusing on the largest source of energy, him.

But it was achingly slow. Stiles gritted his teeth as he fought against the horrible feeling, his energy leaving him, making him feel like if he lay down or sat down like he wanted to do he'd never get up again, thats how exhausted he felt already.

Time suddenly fell away from him, his head spinning.

How long had it been since he started giving his magic to this monster?

Minutes? Hours? They all felt the same in his head.

He couldn't stand up anymore, his legs collapsing on him. Soon he was kneeling on the ground, his hands outstretched, still giving his energy away or more like his life force, it felt like it was draining him of everything.

But he couldn't stop.

If this was to save his home or a test to save Alicia, he couldn't stop, no matter what.

Stiles vision started to go blurry.

Pain started to ricochet across his body but he kept going.

Even if it costs me my life I must continue.

When his vision almost turned black suddenly his strength started to return, his vision starting to focus again and Stiles let out a gasp of relief, the silver soul had gone back to its original form and there was something impossibly floating on top of the substance, glinting in the light that came through the cracks of the building.

A mirror piece.

He had done it.

Stiles let out a laugh filled with happiness, stress and relief, for a couple of seconds he laughed so hard he thought maybe he'd gone insane.

He reached towards the mirror piece but before he could reach it, his surroundings suddenly blurred and were replaced by a familiar room.

He was back in the same room and a mirror piece came floating from a now open door that he'd just stepped through which then slammed shut and the piece of mirror fitted into the mirror frame.

A whimper made him realise with relief that he wasn't alone.

Flower was still with him, thankfully.

Though an uneasy feeling settled in his stomach, if the curse had transported her here then she must have something to do with all of this, this curse must be using her for something or it would have left her in the area they had just been in.

Despite the dreadful feelings he couldn't stop himself at being relieved to see her.

He then heard a creaking and watched as the very last door opened slightly, beckoning them to enter.

These horrid tests would soon be over and he could finally save Alicia.

This thought carried him forward, Flower following behind him.

What would this test be, he wondered as he stepped through the door.

The last one he had to prove he could sacrifice for his people, which he did willingly, now what was in store for them?
