Stiles steps into what looks a dark and damp room. It was quite a small room with a cloth covering a single object within the empty room.
Stiles walked up to it and grabbed the cloth covering it, throwing it away, assuming the object would be part of his test.
The dust made him cough a little as he looked at the object in front of him. It was a mirror? Yet he could not see his reflection inside of it. It reflected the rest of the room yet he was not standing in it. A creepy feeling twisted in his gut.
Was this part of the test?
What kind of test was it?
Then words suddenly appeared across the mirror like a invisible hand was writing them on.
Find my missing pieces and I will show you your true reflection.
"Missing pieces?" Stiles muttered confused.
His eyes widened as the mirror started to crack right in front of him and the room started to shake.
Then Stiles watched unable to do anything as the mirror broke into 5 pieces, falling to the floor and then they started to float and flew in opposite directions.
Stiles spun around as be heard a door opening?
What the?
There weren't any doors in the room before hand he swore.
There were now five doors swinging open, the pieces of the mirror flew out of the doors then they slammed shut. A number appearing from one to five on the doors.
So... all he had to do was find the mirror pieces to prove that he was worthy? It sounded simple enough.
It still did seem a bit strange though but mind you, he was the Grand Master and all the crazy stuff that's happened to him, he really should be used to strange things happening to him by now.
Stiles didn't think about it, all he did was stride over to door one, why not start from the beginning? Open it and step through.
He stepped into a forest, it looked a lot like the one the Druids had used for their spells to hide their realm but Stiles could tell he was in a entirely different place.
Something still felt strange in this place though. Something in the air.
Stiles stood in the forest a little unsure what to do then he heard crying.
It sounded like it was coming from a crying child nearby.
Stiles frowned, confused, was this part of the test or just a coincidence? Either way he didn't know what else he was supposed to do so he walked cautiously in the direction of the crying.
He blinked as he saw who was crying.
A young child, a girl, maybe seven or eight years old, was sitting by the tree, tears streaming down her face.
What was the most worrying though was that she was covered in blood.
Stiles hesitated, what is this was not the test and be was just waisting time? But then at the same time he couldn't just leave her there.
Stiles hesitantly moved into her eye line and called out to her so he didn't startle her.
"Hello, are you okay? Where are your parents?" He asked softly.
She huddled more against the tree, looking frightened of him.
Then Stiles noticed what was clutched in her hand.
It was the mirrors piece.
But he still didn't understand.
What kind of test was this? Was the girl not actually real or a trick of the curse? Or was the curse using this child in someway?
Using her, hurting her and leaving her in this forest, away from her parents and friends... all alone.
