The doors suddenly burst open.
"My Lord! There-"
Stiles and Rocrik both stiffened, both for different reasons.
Pure humiliation seemed to be coming of Rocrik in waves but Stiles was just shocked, he hadn't expected to see her so soon.
"Rucia"
Her eyes found Stiles, she stared at him for a couple of seconds, her eyes taking in the scene in front of her. Stiles could practically feel her figuring out what happened.
Then slowly she knelt, a form of respect nothing more or less. Her voice was calm and controlled however her eyes spoke volumes.
"Master, my Lord. I really suggest you both go out side. There is something you both must see"
Stiles ignored Rocrik and quickly made his way outside, he was pleased that all his time in this place he now knew his way around.
The Grand Master almost gasped in shock at what he saw.
There was smoke coming from the city and right in front of him a huge crack had started to take its place, like the ground had slowly been pulled apart.
"There was a earthquake, it only was for a few seconds but it did a lot of damage"
Stiles mind looped over what had just happened a few seconds ago.
Had this been him? When he'd gotten angry? He knew he'd made the ground tremble but he didn't realise that it had gone this far.
He turned to the ex Lord of Mind "Rocrik, go and wait in the Lord of Minds room, I'll deal with you later. Stay there until I get back"
Rocrik scurried of hurriedly and soon it was only Stiles and Madam Rucia outside.
"I was told that you would replace the Lord of Mind" She said, she gave nothing away, her voice calm.
Stiles closed his eyes and concentrated, soon he was his more ordinary hight, he felt better, talking to her face to face rather than having to look down.
He made sure to lose the power from his voice and to talk more quietly, that way he sounded more like a normal sorcerer.
"I was told that too" He said with a dry smile.
"You did this, didn't you?" She said.
He cringed "I didn't mean too"
But even that sounded childish to his own ears.
However to his surprise Madam Rucia smiled and actually looked amused.
"Looks like you're going to have to control that temper of yours after all"
Stiles was slightly startled at how well she was taking this. For some reason he'd expected her to treat him differently however he did still have a couple of tricks up his sleeve that may surprise her.
He could do anything he wanted right? This world was now basically owned by him. The silver soul that now slid through his veins connected him to this realm.
If that was completely the case then it wasn't just sorcerers he had a hold over.
Stiles held out his right hand, directing it towards the smoke within the city then he clenched his hand into a fist.
It all happened so fast.
Stiles felt the rush of power in his veins triple and his pulse accelerated.
Just as he clenched his hand the world seemed to rock back and forth then the crack in front of them closed, it closed up like a wound scabbing over.
Just as that happened at the exact same time the smoke coming from the city vanished into thin air.
Stiles focused on something different, soon his cloak switched colour and material, he was back to wearing the same cloak that had marked him as a servant before all this happened.
He held out his hand to the older sorcerer.
She took it slowly, the calmness was gone from her expression what replaced it was excitement and wonder.
Stiles walked her to the city. The smoke had been a sign of destruction however now the city looked brand new, like nothing had happened.
The only sign that minutes ago there had probably been a lot of damage done to the city where all the sorcerers. Quite a few where covered in dust from buildings and they were all pointing, laughing and some where crying happy tears.
They'd all been saved from the aftermath of devastation.
In his anger Stiles probably coursed a lot of damage and destruction but within seconds and a movement from his hand he had just saved everyone and made sure he had not hurt anyone by accident or the aftermath.
Like it had never happened.
No one apart from Madam Rucia knew he was the new Grand Master within the city, no one thanked him or worshiped him or was scared of him.
Stiles decided he enjoyed this kind of thing. Maybe he could visit cities in secret more often.
"Thank you" Madam Rucia said softly, looking amazed.
"I was the reason the city was in danger, no need to thank me" Stiles replied.
She smiled and only said...
"Everyone needs a thank you once in a while, even when they don't want it"
