After the new Grand Master at first no one spoke. Not a pin drop, no one sure what to say or how to react. So they all turned to their alpha, to follow his lead.

Kian smiled but it was clearly darker than before, the politeness gone.

"Things have gone exactly as planned, good"

"How was that exactly as planned? I thought we wanted to get rid of the the Grand Master, not invite him to dinner" One of his beta's growled, glaring at Kian.

One of the female werewolves Helena, said  hopefully "Have you changed your mind? I always said it would be foolish to go ahead with-"

Kian growled at her, flaring his alpha red eyes.

She quickly backed away, looking away submissively.

"Are you seriously telling me that you want something like that to continue to exist? It's far to powerful. You want it hanging over our heads for the rest of our lives and our children's lives? Like our ancestors? Our ancestors didn't have what it takes to get rid of it, so we will" Kian growled.

A couple of cheers rang out from the pack.

But a couple of werewolves noticeably didn't cheer, looking nervous.

Helena, a young werewolf, she was seventeen years old and was the only bitten one in the council. She'd been turned a couple of months ago due to her connections to some powerful druids that the council had wanted on their side.

Still being part of the council was an impressive feat even though she was the lowest in the high archery.

That didn't stop her from speaking her mind though.

"But he won't interfere with us, I... don't understand why we need to get rid of him"

Her green eyes locking with the leaders, flinching under his look but this time not backing down.

Another werewolf spoke, backing her up, her name was Calypso.

"Even if we don't agree with what's being said we always should listen to it. I do understand where you are coming from Kian but honestly the Grand Master has never been a threat before so I see no reason as to why he will be now. Even if he is someone different he still wishes to keep the pact between us, as long as that pact exists then he will not do anything to us and like wise"

A different werewolf who was close to Kian rolled his eyes "You seriously think it cares about the pact? It's power will continue to hover over us until we do something about it"

Kian nodded, narrowing his eyes at Calypso "I expected better from you. You don't have to agree with her just because you took her under your wing"

Helena gritted her teeth and Calypso said sharply "That has nothing to do with this"

She turned to another member of the council, standing quietly in the corner. He was well respected by them all.

"You agree with us, don't you Tony? I know you do!"

Tony didn't reply for a while as all eyes turned on him. He looked down at the floor as he murmured "We may be the council but we are still a pack. We should listen to our Alpha"

Helena looked suprised while Calypso glared at him "You cowardly-"

"Enough! You heard what he said!" A different member snapped, Antony looked coldly at both of them and turned to Kian "I do unfortunately think they have a point but I agree with you the most, someone as powerful as that should not exist in this world, the risk that someday, maybe not even him but a different Grand Master will ignore the pact and bring our descendants disaster. It's to risky to allow this being to continue to exist"

Helene crossed her arms and snapped addressing the pack and Kian "Well even if you wanted to, you seriously think you have chance against him?"

Kian grinned.

"Now? Of course not but at the banquet, there will be an opportunity that arises"

Hi! So sorry about the wait again, I was locked out for some odd reason, then I was feeling ill again and not feeling up to writing any more, still not sure what's coursing it, I've had some blood tests and will be getting the results soon, hopefully figure out whats wrong. Anyway hope you are all well and hope you've had a good couple of months! Unfortunately until I feel better I won't update to much,  its a bit hard to focus on a story when for some reason random aches and sometimes quite painful aches happen in different areas of my body, sometimes odd pin pricks of pain like my nerves might be acting up? and feeling a strange constant digging pressure on my abdomen, its so odd, anyway I will try and keep it regular.
