Just as he realised they where here, there was a knock on the door. Stiles opened it to see Ren standing before him.
"The Lords are here, I thought it would be best to take you, just in case"
Stiles nodded.
He made sure his cloak was on properly before following Ren out of the door.
As they walked Stiles just couldn't stop noticing their hight difference. Would he be like this forever?
"I was wondering, I was told a while ago that the Grand Master has many forms, can I go back to my normal size?"
To his relief Ren nodded.
"We haven't had a new grand master in a long long time. I don't really understand how they do it but it was said that you have a couple of different forms though I did hear it depended on you and your magic"
His magic?
Right, that helps Stiles thought sarcastically, he was getting a good grasp of his magic but since drinking from the silver soul he could barely understand it anymore.
It still felt familiar but at the same time far far different from what he'd been used too.
The court room wasn't very far from his own room.
The doors like in all of this place was huge. Which was good for Stiles, he supposed they had been built specifically for someone his hight. The doors where engraved with silver ruins that seemed to pulse once Stiles laid his hand on it.
Five pairs of eyes landed on him as soon as he entered.
The Lord of Power, Lady of Air, Lord of Fire, Lady of Water and Lady of Earth.
Like he'd expected each cloak represented their district.
The Lady of Earth's cloak was awash with green, blue, beige and bronze.
While the Lady of Water's cloak was an interesting mix between different colours of blue, green and a small amount of grey.
To his surprise some of the looks he was getting were not that welcoming however he did notice that despite some of the cold looks, no one looked him in the eyes.
No one dared too...
He stood in front of them in the court room, they were all sitting down apart from the Lord of Souls who was still standing by his side.
They're judging me Stiles thought.
Finally someone spoke, cutting the silence like a knife.
It was the Lord of Power, he had the brightest blue eyes Stiles had ever seen. The thread connecting to him was strong but stiff.
"Sorry, it must look disrespectful on our part to not speak up. We're all a little shocked you see. First we hear the Lord of Mind would be stripped of his title and we needed someone else, next well, no one expected the Grand Master to die so soon"
The Lady of Air chuckled at that, there was this look of superiority in her eyes but something told Stiles it was there for a reason.
"So soon? You are aware that he'd been alive thousands and thousand of years. It was bound to happen eventually" She sniffed.
The Lord of Power reddened slightly at that but he replied back heatedly "I'm aware! I'm just meant that I didn't expect another Grand Master to be chosen in our life times, that-"
The Lady of Water then interrupted their bickering, looking at Stiles. She flicked her long curly hair out of the way as if that would help her get a better look at him.
"Is it true? Did you used to be human before you became a sorcerer?"
The silence after that was deafening.
