Stiles fumed silently as he studied them, unsure what action to take. The least rational side of him was screaming at him to through them out of his realm, they did not belong here, no matter the reason. They especially didn't belong here given how most of them looked like they'd done nothing wrong.
Like not contacting the ruler of the realm before waltzing in here like they owned the place was the right thing to do.
"Lets save the small talk for later, you wanted to talk to me?" Stiles asked bluntly, crossing his arms defiantly.
"Maybe we should go to a more comfortable -" The leader started to say but Stiles shook his head "I think we're fine right here"
A few glances where thrown around, Stiles withheld a smile at the wolves look of uncomfortableness.
A more dangerous side to him was very satisfied at the fear he could feel coming of some them.
If only they knew what had happened to the last pack of dogs I'd met Stiles thought darkly. He had a feeling they wouldn't have dared comforting him like this if they'd known.
"Like I said, I don't have time for anything other that what you actually want to talk to me about. I assume you wish to talk to me about the treaty? I was informed about it and I do not want any changes to be made. I don't see how it would benefit me to change it"
It seemed they had not expected him to get to the point so quickly.
Kian seemed a loss for words, mouth agape.
"No, wait! We traveled far to get to the portal that allows us to travel into this realm! At least hear us out, its the least you could do!" One of the younger werewolves said. His name began with a H but Stiles didn't try and bother to remember it.
"The least I could do? Last time I checked I didn't waltz up to your territory uninvited" Stiles sneered. The fury was building again. How dare these dogs question him?!
"Harris!" Kian growled, the younger werewolf quickly backed down.
He turned back to Stiles then said more sincerely but for some reason despite the seriousness Stiles could sense a false note in the leaders voice "I'm sorry about him. He is new. I'm sorry we offended you in our haste to talk to you but the treaty like the laws of the world is old and ancient, more suited to hundreds of years ago, not in these modern times"
"They've been explained to me and I don't see how they aren't relevant anymore. We have no need to interfere in your world and you have no need to interfere with ours, thats it" Stiles growled, his eyes glowing brighter in warning and his voice tight with restrained emotion.
Kian said quickly, in an effort to steer the conversation his way, again he sounded truthful but again there was a false note in his voice that rang alarm bells in Stiles head and boiled his fury to the breaking point "Please listen, I think your misinformed about the treaty. I don't think you understand what the treaty is-"
It happened in an instant.
One moment Kian was trying to set his plan in motion. This young man is new, he couldn't-
However any further thoughts and speech stopped as suddenly the new grand master changed right before his eyes.
In a matter of seconds a giant stood before him, every feature about the young man had intensified and his eyes where to blinding to look at.
He was so tall that he loomed over them, reminding Kian of a mountain.
There was a sudden pressure forcing him and the rest of the council to their knees.
Then to his and the rest of the councils fear, they realised that the terrifying transformation was not done...
This is just in case I don't get to do a chapter tomorrow. I'm doing work experience in London for a week, though I'll try and update like normal or close to normal. Anyway hope you enjoy, hope you had a great day and let me know what you think x
