Renée was never confident about her looks nor her grades, but she had always been confident about her love for art, specifically photography. It had been just a hobby at first, but slowly it became her passion, her oxygen, it made her feel alive. She didn't exactly like selfies, she was more into the surrounding. The people and the nature inspired her.
But when her university scholarship got rejected, everything crashed down upon her. She felt useless and pathetic. She slipped into depression while she spent her days in her room.
The sadness shaded her vision and perspective like shaded sunglasses, dulling every lens flare in her life.
"You're a failure, a useless nothing. You're a lazy slump, a lump of waste mass" Ciara said.
