Gabriel and Renée talked for hours, catching up. Renée never confessed, nor revealed her sorrow, she was just glad to have someone to talk to, someone who didn't belong to her current life, it felt refreshing to have a good friend.
One night, it was almost nearing midnight while Renée was talking to him when Nathan barged into the room.
"Renée! What the hell are you doing?" he shouted.
She immediately stood up, moving her phone away, surprised at his behaviour.
"I told you to get grandma's medicines from the pharmacy, you had one job Renée, she was wheezing, how could you be so irresponsible. You stay slumped in your room all day, what possibly could've distracted you? You are impossible!" he said, backing out and slamming the door in her face.
Renée couldn't believe herself, how could she be so irresponsible.
"You are the most horrible person in the whole wide world. Your grandma's life was on risk all because of you" Ciara said.
