Reneé calmly listened through it all, her sweaty palms clutching the chair. A million questions rang through her brain, but only one mattered.
"Do you have money for his treatment now?"
Arthur sat up straight, his eyes alarming and his figure rigid
"I..uhh..I don't know. I mean, he was feeling well and then I don't know how he..."
Reneé nodded, she had one purpose.
"I'll be back with money. Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to Noah"
He was Clarice's son, the woman who had destroyed her family. But Reneé didn't care, all she knew was that she had to save Noah.
