Renée was at the venue, which was her school's auditorium. The theme was very bright and summery, with coloured dance floor lights. She stepped in the hall to find familiar faces she was used to seeing everyday for years, except now they all seemed to have changed in some way.

Had Renée changed? Yes, she did, but for the worse.

She made her way to the seating area, trying to avoid any sort of social contact. She was sipping on a soft drink while scrolling through her phone to pretend being occupied, when a group of girls passed in front of her, one of the girls caught her sight. It was the same group Renée had once been a part of. Zoé proceeded towards her, clinking her nude pencil heels on the floor. Renée's heart hammered, she knew something huge was going to happen.

"Well, well, look who we have here, the prestigious Ms. Renée. So, how have you been Renée? I heard you didn't get into any university nor do you have any job. Wait, you haven't been indulging into the dark side of the world, have you? But I don't think that'll work, considering your huge figure"  Zoé snickered, twirling her hair around her finger.

By now, a circle had formed around Renée.  She tried to ignore her words, she won't let Zoé hurt her. But the crowd kept growing and so did the murmer.
