Reneé ran out the hospital doors after Nathan.
"Nathan! Wait!" She shouted across the parking lot when he turned around.
She pulled him into a hug, accepting the little star in her world of darkness. Maybe this star wasn't always there, maybe she had her differences with this star, but it was a star nonetheless, and life was about focusing on the stars, be it a blinking one. She had to defeat the darkness with whatever little light she could find.You can't expect everyone to stay for you always, they'll leave, they are meant to leave. But you have to make sure they know their worth until they stay.
"I'm the worst sister ever, Nathan. I don't deserve you, at all", she sobbed into his arms, before facing him.
"I'm sorry. For everything. But I'll fix this, just give me some time. Please"
