Renée was lost.

She had reached a point where performing simple daily tasks seemed difficult. She couldn't reheat any food in the microwave without fearing she might burn down the house. She couldn't use her phone without fearing getting exploited all over the internet. The very room which sheltered her threatened to swallow and suffocate her.

She didn't know what sleep was. She felt excessively hungry yet she couldn't bear to put a morsel of food in her mouth.  She felt like she was annoying, awkward and guilty almost all of the time. She felt out of place.

Unknown, irrational fears gnawed at her heart and mind, she had become a confusing tangle of what if's.
