It was Nathan's turn to look at Renée, speechless, while she picked up her father and took him inside the house. She grabbed the first aid kit and tended to the wound on his head. Nathan stood there for a few minutes, unable to believe that it was his little sister who was acting indifferent to him as his eyes watered, before he went to his room, slamming the door. While her mother, Adalie was out for shopping and her grandma was sleeping in her room.

Renée's father asked her about her life, apologizing again and again while Renée believed him, ignoring all the red signals. All she could see was hope. Hope for a loving family again, hope for happiness, hope for life. She made her father her hope in those moments.

Before she knew it, her hope came crashing down.

He asked her for money, he had lost his job and mortgaged his house. Everything made sense. She asked her father to go away, despite his repeated requests to hear him out, she pushed him out the door. She registered the consequences of her stupidity and actions and returned to her hole of sadness and guilt of hurting her brother.

"Wow! You hurt the one person who was there for you all along? You're so pathetic. Just die. Go kill yourself" Ciara said.
