They had stopped at another gas station as Zephyrine had to rush to the washroom. It was quite deserted, as darkness had fallen over the sky. Renée was busy observing the dark circles around her dull eyes in the grimy mirror when Zephyr's words echoed through the ladies room.

"So, what's your ambition in life?" she questioned while she washed her hands.

"to die" Renée said in a blunt tone.

"Seriously? Come on, don't be so pessimistic dude. Wait, you are not serious, are you? Because you totally look suicidal" she said, her eyes widening as she put a hand at Renée's shoulder, peering curiously.

"Shut up!" Renée said, shrugging off her arm,  "Just shut your mouth! Can't you just mind your own business? You've been talking non-stop for the past hour, just leave me alone!" Renée screeched.

Zephyrine stared back at her, the dark brown orbs suddenly turning cold while her face became rigid, her jaw jutting out.

"Hey!" she started in a firm voice,

"Don't dump your shit on me. You may have a lot of problems but that does not give you any right to shout at others! Other people have feelings too. Being broken or having a bad past does not give you a right to do whatever you please" she finished, exiting the ladies room.

Renée knew that feeling, she understood what Zephyrine was saying. She had despised that action herself, and here she was unloading her garbage at a stranger.

Hypocrite was a new addition to her endless list of flaws.
