The dreaded day had come, the school reunion day.
She had received the invitation via post, and she before she could read it and throw it away, her mother had already seen it. Adalie gave her the 'its good for your health, go outdoors' lecture. She tried to discreetly explain her the reasons why she didn't want to go. But she refused to listen or understand anything she had to say. Maybe she thought this would change Renée in a positive way, show her what she had to do with life. Adalie personally picked out her outfit and did her makeup like she was getting married.
Renée was doomed.
She had to be strong, she was stuck between her family's pressure and her school's torture.
Just one day, Renée, it'll be okay, she told herself.
Little did she know that this one day would cost her everything.
