SMUT AHEAD BEWARE IF YOU WANT TO SKIP THROUGH THAT THIS WILL BE THE SIGN *~*
It had been sixteen days since Noelle's birthday and let's just say that those sixteen days had been pure pain for most of the Hogwarts student population. Specially the girls.
It had been sixteen days since Sirius Black went out of his way to earn Noelle's forgiveness. He had even went as far as apologizing to the whole Slytherin house. Even his brother, with whom he hadn't spoken since a few weeks prior to her birthday. Let's just say that Sirius Black was very creative.
Everyone kind of knew he was creative, because how else could he and the marauders do so many pranks and get away with it without being discovered? But everyone saw a side of him never seen before during those sixteen days. A side many girls wished he had shown when they were together, but he only showed so he could earn the forgiveness of one raven haired girl.
She had forgiven him long before those sixteen days. And her friends knew this, but every time one of them would so much as try to tell Sirius, he would cut them off, run off and find a new way to apologize for being such a dick. After the first week, everyone gave up trying to tell him and they would watch as he ran around trying to make everything perfect for when Noelle entered the room. At first it was entertaining, but then they started to grow angry and annoyed at him, more than once had they been sneezing the whole day because of the amount of flower petals in the Slytherin common room or the amount of children being taken to the hospital wing for eating too much candy that was for Noelle.
Now Noelle thought it was sweet, but then she too got annoyed. Not only had she had to deal with her house being angry at her, but at the amount of jealous girls and boys that thought Noelle and Sirius were an item. She had laughed loudly when she was asked the first time, but then it became tiring having to answer the same thing all the time. She had begged James to tell Sirius to stop but he told her it was a good way for her to learn and take care of her problems.
She had hexed him when he said that.
It wasn't that she didn't want to talk to him. It was more because if they talked, people would see and then the rumours would start. And obviously who would want to willingly deal with that? Exactly, no one. She was sticking to just ignoring him and she had decided that she would talk to him after the Christmas break.
Currently she was getting ready for Slughorns party. Since he knew many students left for their parents house he had decided on doing the party the day before Christmas. She was wearing the dress Viola had so kindly gifted her and the shoes Ruby had gifted her as well. She truly felt like a princess that night.
"Girls I'm heading down now" she spoke when she entered the room she shared with the girls.
"Oh Merlin. You look like a princess Noelle" Katerina said gaping at her with the softest voice she could muster.
"See? I always do well when choosing what looks best on her" Viola, who was staring at the mirror while applying red lipstick to her lips, looked at her through the mirror.
"Yes you did, I can't help but feel self conscious though" Noelle frowned, lightly touching the fabric of the dress.
"Stop it Moon. It's nothing, okay? Now leave, Regulus must be waiting downstairs"
Noelles nodded reluctantly and headed out. Ever since her fifth year she would go with Regulus to Slughorns meetings. The man was very boring and the only way to not prefer death while sitting there as Slughorn spoke of his elite students, was being with someone you were comfortable around. And who's better than your best friend?
