"Did you get them?" asked an excited James Potter as he watched his brother frown with a saddened look.

"I can't believe I wasn't able to retrieve the 25 dungbombs from the shop" James demeanor dropped and he hit the ground with his foot angrily "I did believe though that I could get 30, so I went ahead and grabbed 40" and James was back to being happy.

James screeched happily and only shut up when Remus entered the boys dorm with Peter trailing behind him whilst giving him a disapproving glare. He smiled apologetically before launching himself to Sirius, so he could get a better look at the bag the boy was carrying. "You're amazing Padfoot. We can use these later"

"I know I'm great Prongsie, but we should use these tonight. That'll make Snivellus even more disgusting than before" he smirked gleefully and James nodded in approval.

"I love how you're thinking Padfoot"

"Now that you're done with your blatant flirting, Peter and I dropped the rest of the things by the Slytherin common room. We're ready when you are done declaring your undying love for each other" he rolled his eyes at his best friends antics. The full moon was days away and like always James came up with the idea of doing a prank, because he knew that during these days Remus needed a laugh. His other friends would just let him sleep in classes, take notes for him, do his homework, bring him food amongst other things. 

The Marauders would do pranks.

 At first Lily thought it was the worst idea they could've come up with, but then she understood and let it be. Lily had found out about Remus secret back in fifth year when he kept ditching her during patrol nights. Noelle had tried to cover for him for as long as possible but it became tiring and she had fainted once because of her lack of sleep. Remus was left with no other option but telling Lily once she confronted him. She had cursed loudly, not at Remus, but at herself. At herself for being so stupid and not seeing the signs, because she hadn't been able to help him sooner. Remus was constantly reminded that he had the greatest friends one could ever ask for.

Or so he thought.

"Care to remind me why Slytherin again?" asked Remus curiously as he laid down in his bed, his eyes closed as he tried to rest for a few seconds before they left the dorm.

"Other than the fact that they're disgusting blood supremacists and death eaters?" James asked sarcastically.

"I know what they are but we had stopped doing those so constantly, also, must I remind you that Elle is a Slytherin and we like her? She won't talk to us for a while after this"

"We decided on not pranking her some time ago Moony, where have you been lately man?" James asked jokingly as he patted his shoulder.

"Oh right, I totally forgot. The full moon has me knackered and it's not even here yet" he sighed tiredly.

"We don't have to do this today Moony, if you're really tired we can just leave it for after the full moon is over" James sat down in Remus bed but the boy only shook his head and sat up.

"No, let's do it"

"To answer your question, we're doing this because  Mulciber, Avery and Snape were spreading lies about me saying I had some muggle illness, called TDS" Sirius said while flopping on his bed.

"STD"

"Yes, that thing. What is that thing?"

STD stands for sexually transmitted diseases, there are a few that I've heard of, really. But I'm just surprised they even know about that. Though I have to ask, have you been using protection?" Remus asked with a serious look and Sirius couldn't help but feel uncomfortable.

"I don't know what you're talking about"

"C'mon Padfoot, we all know you've been shagging with some girl and we want to make sure you don't have any TDS" James said nonchalantly, though he wanted Sirius to give him any sort of sign of who the girl was, even if he had some suspicions of his own.

"STD" corrected Remus.

"That's what I said"

"To not worry you, yes I've been using protection. Though who I am seeing is none of your business" he replied sharply and inwardly cringed for being so hostile.

"No need to get defensive, we were just asking" James rolled his eyes but continued with his plan "I've heard Evan Rosier wanted to ask Noelle on a date"

"She wouldn't go with him" Sirius responded quickly and rolled his eyes.

"How do you know that?" James countered.

"She doesn't date, thats public knowledge"

"No it isn't"

"Yes it is" Peter squeaked. Every pair of eyes was set on him and he continued when he saw James raise an eyebrow at him, "Last year she hexed Lestrange when he grabbed her by the wrist asking for a date. She yelled at him that she didn't date anyone, not even an arrogant disgustingly annoying pig like him"  

"See, I was right" Sirius smirked victoriously at James and he glared at him.

"She might consider it though"

"And why's that?"

"Because they dated back in third year"

"No they didn't"

"Yes they did!"

"Did not! Tell him Moony!" both boys turned to Remus who was expectantly watching the two argue.

"That could hardly be considered dating"

"Ah-hah!"

"But it was the only person Noelle has been seen with that lasted more than a few hours. I don't think they ever shared a kiss, but they were together for like a week"

"Told ya!" Sirius glared at the boy who was smiling so widely one would think he just won the Quidditch Cup.

"But if what James is saying about Rosier is true, I highly doubt she'll say yes to him. Not only for the lack of relationship they've had over the last few years, but because-"

"Noelle's been rumoured to be with someone already" Peter finished for him.

"Huh?" Sirius Black could be really slow sometimes, this was one of those times.

"It's been rumoured that Noelle is secretly seeing someone. She knows it but she doesn't care and she'll let everyone believe whatever they want to, but knowing her she's most likely seeing someone" Remus was trying to hint at Sirius that he knew it was him, but it would take him some time until he figured that out.

"Well... whoever it is they're one lucky bastard"

This chapter was supposed to be only about the marauders but i failed because i made it about Noelle. UGH. Anyways i still hope you enjoyed it and i'm so close to finishing finals so ill be able to update more efficiently than before.
