There was something delightful about that day. Nobody knew what it was, maybe the fact that it was the first visit to Hogsmeade of the year and it was precisely a week away from Halloween had something to do with it. But no one cared enough to think it over, they were just glad to be away from the castle and the exhausting assignments being thrown left and right at the students. Every student seemed to be carrying big smiles and that's wasn't an exception to the group of girls who laughed and giggled as they left Honeydukes.

"Did you see his face? I haven't seen anyone so shocked in my life" Lily laughed tripping over her feet before Noelle steadied her.

"I never feel sorry for anyone but the look he had was so sad" Noelle pouted trying not to laugh as she looked at her friends.

"He kept asking me out! I didn't know what else to do! I had already said no so all that was left was to say I'm gay!" Kasumi screeched before laughing "He was being so persistent and it was getting annoying" she rolled her eyes swinging the bag full of candies she carried in hand.

"If it had been me I would've told him I was gay from the beginning" Malia said shaking her head and chuckling at the situation.

"That'll never happen to you Malia, everyone knows you're madly in love with Nicolas" Ruby laughed as she avoided being hit by her "besides Nicolas can be quite scary when he wants to"

"Which is odd since he's like a small puppy following Malia around" Noelle spoke in a weird voice making the girls giggle and Malia blush "He's like my tiny son obsessed with two of my favorite things:Quidditch and Malia" the girls howled with laughter and said girl smacked the back of Noelle's head with a soft smile on her face.

"Getting back to the subject at hand" Lily winked at Malia "I'm really proud of how you handled that situation Kas" she smiled at the blonde girl who looked at the ground shyly.

"She's right Kas, being with Mary has made you much more confident" Ruby gave an encouraging smile to Kasumi who grinned at her friends.

Out of all the girls, Kasumi used to be the less daring and confident. She used to be a very shy girl who, at first, needed the approval of her peers, she often remained in the corners and amongst the shadows to not bring attention to herself. Kasumi was a muggleborn witch who, since birth, had very bright hair that automatically brought attention to her. This made people bully her and she did not fit in for a long time. Her hair being so long and bright lead students to laugh at her, calling her racist names not only for her being muggleborn, but for her origin as well. Kasumi's parents came to London when she was a baby, they had left Japan behind because her father had received a very promising job offer that he took immediately.

For the first two years, Kasumi went to and fro between classes, her common room and the Great Hall. The first person to befriend her was Ruby, with whom she shared dorms. After that, everything became easy, she ignored the harsh names and even though she was still very shy, amongst her friends she was confident and charismatic. She met Noelle and Lily a year later, year in which people bullied her with much more force after discovering about her being lesbian. This lead to Noelle and Lily getting into heaps of trouble for sending many students to the Hospital Wing. Something that Kasumi was greatful, for she finally had friends.

That same year in between classes a boy named Mulciber called her an ugly name that earned him a punch to the nose from a tall Ravenclaw girl, afterwards a duel between the two caused many others to end in the Hospital Wing, including Mulciber. The girl had a year worth of detention, just like Mulciber, and every day Kasumi thanked the girl relentlessly for what she had done. Which lead to them becoming friends. The girl being no other than Malia Kingsley, one of the smartest students of her year along with many others.
