Sirius Black had a plan for everything.
Well, he didn't have a plan per se, Walburga Black had a plan.
Sirius had had his whole life planned. He was to be an obedient child, get sorted into Slytherin, excel in his classes, bully muggleborns and blood traitors alike, be vocal about his beliefs on blood purity, become prefect and maybe later on Head Boy, graduate Hogwarts with the best grades ever, get a job at the Ministry, marry a pureblood girl -preferably from Slytherin and belonging to the Sacred 28- have at least two children, teach them their ways and die of old age. Walburga's plan went to shambles when at the ripe age of 6 Sirius asked why they hated muggles and muggleborns. He couldn't understand why they hated them so much, if you disliked someone you could just ignore them, right? At least that's what he would do whenever Lucius Malfoy was around with his nose stuck up in the air. He'd unkowingly made his parents question the root of their irrational anger and dislike towards muggles, but at the time he was sent to his room without having eaten dinner and this led for him to question everything his parents did.
Children are very curious creatures and little Sirius couldn't understand why he was being punished for asking a genuine question. This had led to a drift in the family dynamic and the bridge between Sirius and his parents was tumbling down with every scream and punishment headed his way.
So Sirius Black did everything to mess up his mothers plans for him. It had started relatively small, with him asking that simple question. Later on there were bigger things, like getting sorted into Gryffindor, befriending muggleborns and Remus Lupin, his mother called his species disgusting half-breeds, and causing all sorts of havoc at Hogwarts. However, Sirius did follow along with some of the things in his mother's great plan for him, even if the last thing he wanted to do was to follow along with whatever that wretched hag wanted for him.
He did get a job at the Ministry of Magic, though it was in one of the jobs Walburga Black most despised, an Auror. And Sirius was hoping that he would be able to pull through with another of the requirements from his mothers big plan for him. He'd already skipped through one, but he really wanted things to work out properly. He didn't want to mess things up like he was known for.
That dainty little thing had been burning a hole in whatever place he'd hid it. Sirius had been so hopeless he'd had it with him since the moment that James got his own and he'd always had only one person that he wanted to bear it. At first it was deep within his underwear drawer, then it was underneath the mattress on his side of the bed, but lately it had been burning through the pocket of his jeans or the jacket he wore. He found comfort whenever he reached and his hand met the small object.
He'd always joked with James about how he was going to do it in the most extravagant way possible, but every time he brought himself to doing said thing something stopped him. Anyone that knew Sirius Black could say that he was extremely confident, but this boy was unlike anything people had ever seen. So, before he could stop himself once more, he just did it.
Noelle had been fast asleep when the sun rays started heating her back. The warmness of the room woke her up, the breeze that filtered through the open sliding door making goosebumps rise through her legs. She opened her eyes blearily to meet the grey gaze of who she'd recently called her boyfriend. His head was propped against his raised arm as he stared at her while his other hand ran up and down her side. Sirius gave her a small smile one that she returned with closed eyes, running a hand through her hair. Her hand tangled with her hair and she tugged harder so she could free her hand of the birds nest she had for hairr. She did this while Sirius smiled, mirth in his eyes as he watched her frown whilst tugging on her hair.
Noelle sighed in contentment when her hand freed itself from her hair, her body rose and straightened itself into a sitting position her arms raising above her in order to stretch itself. She sighed in pleasure when her back cracked a couple of times, Sirius watching in complete adoration the sliver of skin that appeared when she stretched. When she was satisfied enough she turned back to look at Sirius smiling as she met his eyes. Noelle crawled back up to him and quickly pecked his lips before sitting back up, Sirius following her as he too sat up gaining a giggle from her. She smiled as she lovingly ran a hand through his hair "Your hair is getting longer."
