"How is the loveliest boy on earth doing on this very wonderful day?" just as the voice spoke there was the sound of the booming thunder right outside the castle walls "Okay maybe not that wonderful, but how are you doing?"

"Ellie you saw me this morning and we had breakfast together, nothing much has happened since we spoke a few hours ago" he chuckled.

"But Reggie" she whined dramatically "a lot could happen in a span of four hours!" yet again she flopped onto the empty chair next to him dramatically.

"In my life nothing happens." he said quickly so he could carry on with his DADA essay. "Don't you have homework to do?" he peered at her curiously and he caught her ridiculously balancing her wand between her nose and mouth, she could be such a child sometimes, well, most of the time.

She grunted when the wand fell to the floor and leaned down to pick it up before putting it on the table "To answer your question, yes I do have homework but I've decided on taking a well deserved break and so are you."

"Ellie I love you, but I really need to finish this as soon as possible. Slughorn already gave me an extension because I explained that I had Quidditch practice and being Prefect takes a lot of time and then there's O.W.L's and then there's-"

"This is why you need a break."

"How come you're so relaxed?" she smiled at him guiltily and his eyes narrowed "Did someone give you something?" he lowered his voice and leaned closer to her so no one around them would hear them.

"Yes" his eyes widened at her but she continued "but it was only because I was stressing myself too much and I recognized I needed a break. I have barely had five hours of sleep in the last four days and I decided that if teachers want me to do good in class they'll respect me not showing up tomorrow for my mental and physical health. I'll be sleeping all day tomorrow. But now I want you to relax and not worry about that for a few hours." Regulus sighed deeply because, like usual, Noelle spoke the truth. Most of the time.

"Okay fine." Noelle cheered childishly making Madame Pince glare at the two of them before shushing the two. "But after I finish this essay."

"Fair enough." she slumped into the chair.

After a few more minutes the two Slytherins left the library, the boy following the girl as he did not know where they were heading but he finally figured that out when he saw the painting of the bowl full of fruits. He sighed somewhat happily as Noelle tickled the pear before opening the door. It was a secret to many that whenever the young heir of the Black household felt down, dessert would always make him feel better. So when he was young and he felt sad of a scolding from his parents, Kreacher would always bake him a new treat. His favorite was the orange tarte. He hadn't ever confided in Noelle this secret, but once after he received a letter from his parents back in second year for getting a detention he automatically felt glum and spent the rest of the day frowning. Noting this, Noelle took the boy to the kitchens and introduced him the house elves she knew, before helping them prepare Regulus an orange tarte, unbeknownst to her that it was his favorite. He had smiled widely before hugging her and thanking her. She was so unsure of what to do that she just stood there for a while before hugging him back.

That was the first time they felt love once more.

Right after getting sorted into Slytherin, Sirius had just stopped making an effort to talk to his brother. He had met new friends that shared the same views as him and taught him new things, he didn't need his little brainwashed brother. But he obviously didn't know that Regulus wasn't brainwashed. It was more the fact that he was afraid of not doing everything his parents told him to do. He had already seen the backlash his brother received from just being sorted into the wrong house, he didn't want to go through that as well.
