Noelle Moon was incredibly lost.

It had been three weeks since that fateful night in which, not only did she lose her husband, but also one two of her best friends. It was two best friends because she'd had to turn Remus away when he came to see her because while he tried to comfort her, he also told her that they should've seen Sirius betraying them from miles away. That had obviously ended up in an argument and Noelle had screamed for him to leave, as she did so she also told him that when James finally woke up he would see she was right.

Because yes, James Fleamont Potter was very much alive.

To every healer in St. Mungos there was a huge question mark as to how he was alive. Noelle obviously new, she'd been one of the two people who'd created the plan to begin with. When her grandmother had given her the protection spell she'd created, Sirius came up with an idea. He said that if they were to cast it upon the Potter family each day they would be safe should death eaters found them, the only problem was that they couldn't teach the spell to the Potters. Noelle had started practicing it ever since it was given to her and it was an incredibly tricky spell to master. When she thought she'd learnt it it she practiced it on Sirius, the only thing they saw happen was a slight shimmer falling over him and then it was gone. The two had thought it hadn't worked and Sirius was called as back up on an Order mission gone wrong. When he came back he was incredibly banged up and one of the bones in his legs was broken. He waited for the rest of the members to leave to tell her that he was actually hit with the killing curse, it hitting him on the leg with the broken bone seeing as the Death Eater didn't have really good aim. The spell worked like an invisible armor that lay itself upon the person and once hit with the curse, the armor would shatter.

The spell had actually saved his life. Meaning it actually worked, but still needed a bit more improving.

So Noelle taught it to Sirius and whenever he visited the Potters he would cast it on them. The two had agreed willingly and whenever he was about to leave he would cast it on them. Noelle believed the only reason why it hadn't worked on Lily was because she was hit with a much more potent killing curse. This obviously upset Noelle greatly. Maybe if she'd worked harder on the spell she would've been able to save her.

It was no wonder people were curious to know about how James Potter was still alive. They all knew why Harry was, his mothers love for him saved him, but what saved James Potter that left him alive, with only a collapsed lung? Everyone wanted to know, including Albus Dumbledore. The Headmaster somehow knew than Noelle had something to do with it and he visited her home a day after Sirius Black was sent to Azkaban for a crime he didn't commit.

The girl had been pacing in her living room when she heard someone apparating outside of her home. Albus Dumbledore stood on her front porch as he made his way up the stairs and into the house. The man looked grim as he joined her and Noelle was wondering if he'd done something about what they'd spoken when James was sent to the hospital. She'd told the man all she knew about Peter being the Secret Keeper and how she was there when it happened.
