Chapter 27

Zaia's POV

Nalulungkot pa rin ako dahil tuluyan na akong nabulag. Hindi ko rin maramdaman ang mga mata ko hindi katulad dati na nakakakita pa ako ng dilim, ngayon ay wala na talaga.

"I'll give you my right eye, don't worry" Sensui whispered.

Nagiging selfish ako dahil gustong gusto ko hingiin iyon. Gusto ko pang makakita pero hindi ko na ata kakayanin pang manghingi sa iba. Hindi biro ang pagdonate ng mata lalo na ng kay Sensui.

"Sumama ka sa'kin" I heard him whispered as he held my hand.

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang pumasok sa kokote ko para sumunod sa kanya at hayaan akong magpadala sa mga kamay niya.

Hindi na ako natatakot kung tatama ako sa kung saan. I just want to trust him more since he can see and I can't.

Ilang segundong paglalakad lang ay napahinto kaya napahinto rin ako sa paglalakad.

"Bubuhatin na lang kita" narinig kong sambit nito.

"Ayoko, kaya ko pa naman" sagot ko.

"We're going down the stairs. I insist" he continued.

Wala na akong nagawa pa kundi sumalabay na sa likod niya. And for that moment, I inhaled his stargazer scent and it brought back the memories.

From the first time I saw his fiery eyes, pointed nose that perfect the shape of his face, his soft pinkish lips, and his hazel brown hair. Oh how I love seeing him.

Oh how I miss his smile.

Ilang segundo lang ang nakalipas at ibinaba niya na ako. Naramdaman ko ang hampas sa akin ng malamig na simoy ng hangin. Narinig ko naman ang pagwasiwas ng mga puno at huni ng mga ibon.

Napakapeaceful ng lugar na ito. How I wish I have the ability to see it.

"Let's go?" he whispered once again. This time its more calm and sweet.

I know at this point he wanted me to feel good instead of thinking about my sorrowful eyes.

We continued to walk under the trees. I can hear my steps because of the dead leaves I was stepping on. I can hear the owls and the crickets but the only thing I wanted to feel was his presence.

He held my hand gently as he guided me through the woods, I guess. I can't hear any beep sounds of a car. All I can hear is a paradise. It is far different from the sounds I usually hear in Alison. Maybe we are in a forest to hide from the hunters.

Napatigil ako sa paglalakad ng makarinig ako ng isang kakaibang tunog. Para itong lumilipad sa itaas ng puno.

"What was that?" I asked him.

"Don't worry. Its just an eagle so don't be scared. I 'll protect you and I won't let anything hurt you" his monotonous voice made me calm.

We continued to walk but as we go closer I heard a water pounding on a stone. I can feel the mist that touches my face. I smiled when I realised that it was the sound of a waterfalls.

It feels so good to hear how it touches the ground. I can feel the cold breeze which made me relax.

I still feel thankful for him for taking me to a paradise even if I can't see it. He wanted to make me feel better and I'm so blessed about it. I think I can't live without this guy.

"I always wanted to take you here" I heard him. "but I was too late for it, I'm sorry"

"You don't have to. I should be the one thanking you for everything" I answered.

"Everything was my fault. If I didn't got into that school, I wouldn't have met you. You should still be there and studying and make a living. I messed up your life and I'm sorry for it" I can hear the sadness in his voice.

"Shhh. Meeting you was the best thing that happened in my entire life. You gave me new adventures and it was a perfect fantasy. I met a prince who fell inlove with me" napangisi pa ako sa sinabi ko.

Nanatili kaming tahimik at pinakinggan ang pagbagsak ng tubig kasabay ng pag-agos nito. Napakasarap amoyin ng hangin na para bang wala kang pinoproblema sa mundo.

Oh how much I wanted to see this beautiful paradise but I'm already contented of what I see and what I feel.

"Zaia" he whispered. I uttered.

"I want the world to see what you mean to me and I want you to know what it feels to be in a paradise with me"

He slowly touches my face and inclined with his. He stopped when our nose touched. I curved my lips when I felt his warm breatge against me.

I felt his fingers slowly touches my arm down to my fingers and intertwined with it.

And from that moment, I felt his lips slowly touches mine. He kissed me gently and it was perfect. For a long time, we kissed.

"Open your eyes" he whispered.

I can feel him slowly pulling away from the kiss. He guided me towards the waterfall sound. The next thing I knew, he was backhugging me.

"Open your eyes, princess" I felt his warm breathe when he whispered.

Gaya ng sinabi niya ay dahan dahan kong binuksan ang mga mata ko. I almost cried when I saw heaven.

From a distance it looks like a silent white stream cascading and hitting the rocks. I got lost in the beauty of water tumbling down the mountain. It feels so lively to stand there and witness the marvelous creation of nature.

I feel so energized and full of positive spirit and I would never want to leave this place and go back to crowded and noisy city again.

Hinarap ko si Sensui at nakangiti ito sa akin.

"I love you, Zaia"
