The Queen of Stars

Chapter 31

I was anxious as to how this mornings breakfast was going to go, so much so that i couldn't keep still, it seemed to be annoying Luke slightly though because he cast me a cirtan look that seemed to say 'stop whatever the fuck your doing'. Other than that he was sitting next to me looking bored, i wish i could be bored it would be so much easier than all of this... drama. 

The King and Queen were sitting in silence looking over at me. I could tell that the King was pissed off at me for something but i didn't dare open my mouth, i was way too nervous. Shits gonna go down soon and i really wish i wasn't here to witness it. 

Somebody walked in and my eyes saw that it was Leah. She looked like crap, her hair was a mess and she looked like she hadn't slept a wink. But that wasn't the real issue, bruises were forming all over her skin, which looked red and raw.  I knew who placed those terrible bruises there, it made me shiver with fright. She saw me looking and smirked but it seemed to falter a little when Lucian strode into the room. Only it wasn't Lucian, his Lycan was still there those bright golden eyes so bloody dangerous and scary. He didn't even bother announcing his presence or smiling instead he advanced towards me. I kept still holding back all my emotions, i couldn't let him see how frightened i was of him. 

He walked right up to me and plonked himself in the chair next to me. He was across from Leah who he was glaring at. Something went down there, i'm not too sure what though. Whatever it was it looks like Leah lost, badly. 

"What happened?" I whisper. 

After he swore to kill any man who even looks at me I tried to walk away but the stubborn basted followed me, he was like my own personal stalker. I would say it was great except for the fact it really wasn't. Luckily Leah came looking for him and while his attention was else where I managed to slip away to my old room, i couldn't risk my hiding spot incase he caught my sent and tracked me like a fucking dog. 

Now i think i should have stayed. 

" Somebody forgot you were mine mate and I am yours." His attention was now on me but i saw his eyes flicker towards Leah. He was angry at her. 

" Why are you angry at Leah? What did she do wrong? I thought Lucian loved Leah!" I protest. My eye brows were now knitted together in confusion. I thought Lucian wanted Leah and not me? Couldn't his beast just accept that, instead of holding a really creepy claim over me. 

" Jealous mate?" that phrase could of been light and amusing, instead it sounded dead, unemotional. 

" No." Lies.

 " Actually I think they should be together and in love." Lies, Lies, Lies. 

" They should mark each other and then mate with each other every single night and not give a shit about my breaking heart. Because maybe then you will all leave me the hell alone to drown in my misery." 

The beast was about to say something but i wasn't about to let him. " I hate Lucian Royal." I bellowed " And I always will, he broke my heart when i was already going through hell but i'm still alive and i'm going to make sure that he never ever hurts me again." 

I was angry and some of my anger was forcing things that 

I peer over at Leah to see her gaze not on me not on the beast but instead at the doorway. I also turned my gaze there and what I saw made my eyes widen and a gasp escape from my lips. 

Lucia was standing in the doorway just absorbing everything that was being said. She was watching when everybodies gazes flickered towards her. 

" Darling we were wondering when you were going to show up. Its not like you to stay out of contact for so long." The Queen said, her voice was sharp. Obviously she didn't like that her daughter decided to have a life out of being the perfect princess. 

" Ive just been up the road in my apartment, you could of visited anytime you wanted." 

The Queen wrinkled her nose in disgust. " I'm fine thank you." 

Wow and I thought my situation was bad. Despite the fact me and my parents weren't on the best terms i knew if they could they would be over here stat. But they were giving me distance and for that I was thankful. 

Lucia had been giving me space and for that I was grateful, i'm actually kind of glad that she burst in here. Lucians Beast making an appearance gave me the push I needed to at least think about contacting her, forgiving her. Not that I am anywhere close to forgiving her, i'm still hella pissed at her for not telling me shit and instead sending me riddles. I don't even know why she did it! My godfather I haven't heard a peep from either, now at least he has a reason. My parents probably put him up to it, he probably thought he was protecting me. 

I watch as Lucia's gaze moves form her mothers to mine. 

" Still hiding out here?" She asks, I think she meant for it to lighten the mood but instead it made her sound rude. I could feel Adora's mood darken. " Arthurs worried sick about you. Not that you would know because we have heard nothing form you for months." 

" Well i'm sorry that I don't talk to lying manipulative bitches like you. My godfather can handle my silence, he's family. I am more than ready to let his actions slide. But you, I want tolerate you lying to my face."  

Everyone was staring at me, eyes wide in shock and it was only till I stopped that i realised how authorised I sounded, so powerful, so much Like a Queen.   

I stand up my heart beating a million miles an hour. Suddenly I no longer felt hungry or had any desire to be here. 

I turn and look at everybody's shocked faces... well Lucians beast seemed quiet happy with my little outburst. 

Ashamed I fled the room not wanting to stand there a second longer. 

I ran and ran always to where I had been hiding out. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called the one person who I needed, the one person who I could trust right now in all this.. mess. 

They answered straight away. 

 I whimper. " I need your help."
