Chapter 36

The beast walked me back to my room in silence. We walk past Leah who is leaning against the door near the entrance to the castle. She hisses at me baring her teeth, her eyes shooting invisible flames at me. I just glance at her as if she was dirt under my shoe. I really couldn't care for her shit anymore. 

The beast stops me once we are in my wing. With Lucians door or the door to the place i have been sleeping and crying right across form the door i'm suppose to be spending most of time time in, nobody really seems to know or care where i am. 

I was so distracted, so deep in my thoughts that when the beast pushed me up against the door i nearly jumped out of my skin. He really needs to wear a bell or something. 

He runs a hand lighting down the side of my body making me shiver in delight and my Wolf purr. It didn't however distract me from the fact i was completely trapped. He now had one hand on my waist and another on my shoulder. His entire weight pressing against me. there was no denying I was frightened, even he knew it but chose to ignore it. I could see the determination in his eyes and it just raised my alarms more. He was up to something and I didn't want to find out what that 'something' was. 

" Whats going on?." I breath. Barely keeping it together I manage to spill that phrase out. Outside i may of looked very still but inside i was frantic. 

" The Moon has been beckoning me to return my human to mate. Threatening more like. She isn't happy with me. So I must go." I didn't know if i was allowed to feel relived but some part of me did. I was going to have Lucian back. We could start over fresh. But that other part of my warned me that this was not over, this conversation hasn't ended and this thing thats been happening these past months wont end until I have Lucian back. 

" What are you waiting for then?" I dared to ask him. I watched as his eyes flickered with anger. 

" So eggar to get rid of me mate." He hissed into my ear. That hand was now stroking my side again. It was making it very hard to concentrate or think of anything to say, maybe thats how he wanted it and i hated that he was using this devastatingly good feeling against me. I didn't care how amazing it felt... okay so that was said half heartedly. I shake my head slightly at him an d send him a little smile just as a reassurance that i wont try anything stupid. That this last time he has me at his mercy. He liked that, he enjoyed knowing that I was willing to go along with this little game he was playing. 

" Well then.." His mouth moved towards my neck and stiffened. " before I go, i need some sort of reassurance your ours. The sent just isn't enough. The mating process should of been completed on your 16th birthday mate and your not getting any younger. So what must be done, shall be done." 

He starts to like that very very sensitive spot where my shoulders meet my neck and I nearly faint, this cant be happening. 

" But I thought... I had to place... my sent... on you.... first." I said breathlessly. 

I thought this may make him rethink but he just chuckled. 

" Your wolf already did it for me. She's been doing it for months. Doing it as little as she can so that you don't notice. But she's put your sent all over me. Now soon everybody will know your mine." 

" Please don't do this." I beg. " You don't have to. Ill do it willingly soon enough." 

" But when will soon be mate? A month? A year? A week?" He replied lifting his head slightly, " This is reassurance that nobody will take you from me and that nobody will take me from you." 

" Is this about Leah?" I push again, he cant mark me against my will, he wouldn't dare. 

" Its about everybody watching and wanting whats mine." He hissed and then sunk his teeth into my skin. My body went limp from the shock. He did it. He marked me, when I asked him not too. Inside i was angry flaring, thrashing about with fear and anger. But on the outside I was just limp in his arms. I felt nothing but a creeping cold flame. Maybe i was even slightly glade that he marked me. Now I was officially his, forever. No taking it back. It was almost like humans line ' till death do us part' the bite mark like a ring. Who would force somebody to marry against their will though? A cruel cruel person, that's who. 

and in that moment, that was all I could think about. The cruel cruel people in this world and how sick I felt when I didn't consider my mate one of them, even though marked me, against my will. 

His teeth left my skin and his lips brushed over the mark made. 

Thats when the bright blue light burst. I had no idea where it came from. All i know is that it was everywhere. It was filling my vision, my mind and I had to try and shield myself from such a sight. Then I saw a lady. She was made of the light. She walked through it. her presence filled the room and her power was greater than any on earth or anywhere else, It was the Moon Godess. I help my breath, worried that if i moved or made a sound she would go away. 

the beast had turned to watch her as well and he seemed to be in a trance. 

" Prophecy Child." She said, addressing me. I felt my wolf bow in awe of her presence. It was an honour a gift in it self to be acknowledged by the Moon Godess. " You have been in pain for too long. Here I shall give you a gift. One you will need when you come to stand against those who rally against you. I give you the one person who will always stand with you. Your mate." She reach out and touched Lucians forehand and he fell to rest on the ground. " He will be alright. The emotional damaged caused by him thinking you were gone made him weak, so weak his Lycan was easier able to keep control of him. I give you back your Prince, he will need time to heal. You must stay by his side until he is string enough to keep on fighting." 

I nod my head and bow low. " Thank you Moon Godess." 

" Now wake up Stella, before fate decides to turn against you."

I sit up startled. I was in Lucians room, in our wing. He was sleeping soundly next to me. As I watch him i ponder what just happened, was it all just a dream? Do I really have my mate back? 

My heart started to beat faster as Lucians eyes flutter, I started to panic, he was waking up. What if it didn't work? 

But when his eyes opened that gorgeous blue stared back at me, not a speck of gold in sight. I collapsed, crying. 

" Your back..." I sob into his shoulder. he hesitantly reaches out to stroke my shoulder. I curl into him and we just hold each other, for a really really long time. I was so happy, so overwhelmed. He was finally back. After all that sorrow and torcture. 

and It just felt right, because he was mine.
