Chapter 46

Lucian showed me how much he loved me all night, over and over again and through to it the next morning. It was like we couldn't  get enough of each other and with each thrust I could feel our bond strengthening. A certain power gliding its way through our vains only pulling us closer together. He looked after me at every moment and made sure that i felt safe and protected in his arms, I never ever wanted it to end.

I was lying draped over Lucian, my head resting on his chest. Nothing could get more perfect than this.

"Do you think it's strange that there's a war coming and we're in here having sex?" I ask him. He laughing, big full laughter than tumbled through my body making me smile.

" Isn't that what people generally do before a war." I could so imagine him winking. " Plus there will not be a war Stella, we are not looking to start a fight just because you think that Leah, your least favourite person in the entire world is in an alliance with rebels."

" I don't think that Lucian, I know." I whisper. A dull feeling forms in my chest, its a nasty feeling that forces me to burry my head further into his chest....I thought he was finally on my side. " Can we just not talk about this right now? I don't want your kind and trusting heart to get away of your logic when we argue."

"you think I'm kind and trusting?" He whispers back, his fingers stoke down my arm in a teasing manner. I shiver at the sensation.

I sit up a little so that I could look into his eyes. I could see them Sparkling; he's too compassionate this man. Too loving and kind and just magnificent. 

" I think you a lot of things Lucian. Your incredible, smart, Drop death handsome, kind hearted and one of the most trusting people in the world, but most importantly your mine." I tell him. His hands reach out to clasp the side of my face. " no matter how little time we have had already, or how many times we have argued. I want a forever with you Lucian."

I pull myself closer to him, straddling his waist. My heart beat fastens as I stare into those beautiful green and blue eyes. I run my hands through his silky brown hair softly, almost in a smoothing manner.

Life has been too complicated. Our relationship has been the definition of complicated, but somehow we're here now. I wasn't going to let anything come between us again. Not even my petty ideas about Leah or the rebels. It may not even be true anyway.

I lean in closer and capture Lucians lips with mine, kissing him long and hard. Nothing will ever make me stop loving him.

After the first time we had sex I had felt our bond strength and grow. I could also feel my connection to the earth fall back into place after being lost for so many years. Lucian tells me that I'm radiating power, a huge power that can definitely be felt by all. Even him, my mate and my equal. It's a scary feeling. I'm still young and I don't know how to control all of this.

" You'll be mine my love." Lucian soothes as if he could read my thoughts. " Forever and ever. Even in death I will never ever stop loving you." 

He pulls our heads so close together that our lips touch. I smile at his words and at the tingling feeling in my lips that now seems to be all that my mind wants to focus on. 

" We should really get up and present ourselves to the world." Lucian whispered onto my lips. He tries to push me off him playfully but i quickly grab his hands and push them into the headboard above his head. I push myself closer yet again to Lucian smashing my lips against his. My tight on his wrists loosens. Softly I nudge my power a little and effortlessly as i trail my fingers down his arms a small vine follows locking him in place. I run my hands down his chest lightly as i start leading a trail of kisses down Lucians face. His head just lolled to the side as he let out a small moan. 

Chuckling I push him away and in lightning speed i'm out of bed and lazily heading over towards the walk in closet. 

" We should really 'present ourselves to the world' yes my love?" I tell him fluttering my eye lashes and cooing at his shocked figure. That small vines had crept away with my leaving his arms lip at his side. 

" Your wicked love." He tells me, grinning and crossing his arms. " Such a fucking tease." I give him a wink before turning around and walking into the wardrobe. Ruffling through the draws i manage to find the perfect ' day after mating complete look with a touch of ' you all should really fucking listen to me because i swear i'm right'.

I braided my hair into two french plaits. I threw on a cropped oversized hoodie with some high waisted denim shorts. The jumper was coated in Lucian's sent, i figured he may of slept with it a couple of times, the though made those butterflies flap away inside of me. 

I walk back into the room only find Lucian looking at me. His arms were crossed as he leaned against the headboard that only seconds ago i had him pinned against....He had a lazy look on his face that made him look so fucking adorable i nearly exploded. 

I choose not to say anything otherwise we may be in big trouble. I wonder what people would think if we never ever left this room? Lucian seemed to hand the same thoughts as he managed to pull himself off the bed and walk over to me. As soon as he reached me he turned me around so that I faced the full length mirror with him pressed up against my backside. 

" You look absolutely gorgeous today love, too bad your gonna have to change out of it." he whispers in my ear. I shiver, and people think i'm powerful. This man would break the most important part of me if he wanted to. Nobody should ever have that much power. 

" but...but why?" I mumble. A bit to focused on Lucians hand that was now caressing my side. I can't even put up a good argument! The man bloody well knows it too, its his game. 

" Well you see think here?...." He runs a finger at the exposed skin just above my navel. 

" ....And here." He runs a hand lightly down my leg forcing goose bumps to appear. I just close my eyes and mumble some sort of answer, i have no idea what it was.

" Way too much skin. Only I should be seeing that much skin at once." He purrs in my ear. Typical alpha male,  I chuckle slightly. " Well i thought you would be happy that i worn the hoodie coated in your sent Lucian. You know that I only want you plus i don't think people will even be able to detect my sent anymore I am drenched in your sent, literally." 

He laughs. " Well I guess it's fine then as long as we spend the day together today. Just the two of us. No family, no dramas. Just me and you on a date." 

Thats when I opened my eyes and whir around. 

" So only now that you have slept with me you wanna go on a date?" I laugh. 

" If I could turn back time I would go on a million dates with you. However time travel hasn't been invented yet so I guess I just have to make it up to you." 

" It's a date then."

Sorry i'm gonna use the really lame and cliche excuse for not updating....

I was really busy. 

Which is true so pls don't hate me. But atm all the writing i've been doing is on my inkitt for the book I have on that because i'm re writing it.... anyway u guys don't wanna hear this at all.
