October 18, 1957
Jackie awoke to a cold and empty bed. She sighed, she always hated it when Jack was away. But now... she was so worried. Jack was gone and he was to come back a mer two days before her due date. She was nervous, what if she gave birth prematurely as she did with Arabella?
She wanted Jack to be there when their daughter was born. And if he wasn't... she didn't know if she could handle it. Was campaigning more important to him then family? She felt anger rise up in her but quickly quenched it down.
She couldn't be mad with Jack, she knew he didn't want to go. She placed her hand to her swollen stomach and sighed. She just hoped, PRAYED that Jack would be here in time.
With a mighty groan, she lifted herself from bed and began preparing for the day, she wanted to have Bella start swimming lessons (well she really meant mainly Jack) and she was going out to sign her up today, hopefully Bella could start soon. However she didn't want to push the little one too far.
She didn't want to be like Jack's father...
Sighing she finished her make up for the day and went to start breakfast for herself and the girls.
