*a few years later*

"I hope you are had the best time of your life. Thank you Hong Kong. This was another chapter of my life. This was ' symphony ' world tour , thank you for every opportunity you have been given me ,  thank you for the love and support you have been showing the past 14 years . Thank you. " I say , leaving the stage , hearing all the people go wild.

"Great show Shawn" Andrew says , as I give my guitar to Zubin

"Another 12 hour flight until Canada " Geoff says as we get into the backstage

"I want to go home. Can we just skip the 12 hour flight?" Ela nags

Ela is 15 years old now. And yeah, I take her wherever I go. I can't leave her behind

"Again In your period?" I ask her laughing

"Dad!" Ela says and Geoff heads over where the food is.

"We must start recording the new album tho." Andrew says

"Can we just wait until we get home? I have been seeing those 4 soundproof walls for years" Ela says

"Martin's Garrix son will be there too" Geoff says and I can see the spark at Ela's eyes

"I can't wait until we get to the studio" Ela says getting up and going to the bathroom

I can't believe that all this years, I have been everything to Ela , a boy just stole her heart. Like dude, I'm her father . Show me some respect

"Young love" Zubin says , getting into the backstage

"She is not in love with Martin's son. I talk with Martin once in a while. He didn't say anything to me" I say

"Yeah like he would say 'your daughter loves my son, keep her away" Geoff says

"Shawn admit it. You are just jealous because Ela cares more about a boy rather than you" Andrew says

"I'm not. I'm totally fine" I say and Ela gets out of the bathroom,holding her phone

"Dad can we go to Kevin's dad concert in 4 days? He got me tickets and I'm sure Martin will have a place for you. You can perform your songs together live" Ela says and Geoff with Andrew start laughing

"Ela I think it's better to stay at home for a few days. Aaliyah will be there too. " I explain her and she rolls her eyes

"I can see aunt Aaliyah all the time. I can't see Kevin all the time " Ela nags

"Kevin isn't a relative tho'' I tell her and Geoff with Andrew start gossiping about Kevin

"It's so unfair. You can go on dates with women I don't even like , but I can't go on dates with guys you don't like. " Ela says , going out of the room we are

"Wait..did she say date?" I ask them

"Mendes , I'm sorry but you aren't as young and beautiful as I am nowadays. Your daughter is a teenager , going on a date with Garrix's son" Geoff says

"I ship them" Andrew comments

"She is not going on a date with Kevin. Martin is a friend of mine. But I won't let Ela go on a date with his son" I say , going to find Ela

I stop her a few room down , where we keep the guitars. Thank god she didn't go far away because this place is huge.

"What?" Ela asks playing the guitar

"Just talking with my daughter" I say sitting next to her

"Why can't I go to a date with Kevin ?" Ela asks , holding in her tears

"Because you just turned 15. "

"You lost your virginity at the age of 16 dad"

"Okay, internet isn't good for you. Also, at the ago of 21 , I had you . I was alone"

"Going on a date with Kevin, won't make me like the person who gave birth to me " Ela says

"I will only let you go only if you tell me where you will be . And be home before midnight" I tell and she hugs me tightly, running out of the guitar room , typing something at her phone

"You are too soft with her " Geoff says

"You are not a father. That's why you don't know"

"I'm a chick magnet" Geoff says , running a hand through his hair

"She still doesn't want to hear or talk about Lydia" Andrew says

"She knows the whole story. It's logical" Geoff says

"I don't blame her"
