My lawyer just smiles at me with sympathy before getting out. Geoff, Tom and Andrew lead me to my car out of the place I don't even want to remember anymore.
"Don't worry Shawn, she is just a teenager now. She will know what she did wrong when she grows up" Andrew says
"Yeah. Maybe she will. But it will be too late. Lydia and her pathetic lover will make her hate me even more. She will make Ela have only hate for me. I will miss her teenage age. And that's the time your built your confidence" I say and Geoff gets into the car as I will drive him home
"Shawn don't let this put you down. In a few months she will be back with you and Lydia will be bitching again. You have an album and fans" Tom says and I give him a bro hug before getting into the car.
I see Ela get into the car rapidly with Lydia. There are not journalists and reporters here because we have a faulty address on purpose. I miss her already. I was the first and only person who sang to her , who stayed up all night to calm her down when she was crying, who took her to school. Im her dad. I'm her parent. Lydia and Alex are just a cheep replica
"Shawn?" Geoff asks me
"Yeah" I says starting the engine
"Don't worry. She will be back in matter of time. When she sees the real Lydia . She will be your little princess again" Geoff says
"She isn't that little anymore. She hates me Geoff. My own daughter" I say driving to his house.
I want to go to the studio and record. Record and have an album ready tomorrow. Lydia will break Ela's heart. She doesn't know anything what I know
"Are you sure that you will be okay?" Geoff asks me and I nod.
"I will. I'm going home to record don't worry" I say and he nods.
And that's what I do. I go home and record. Until I hear the doorbell.
