I'm in the Inland Record family from now and on. And to be totally honest with you, I'm happy that I'm doing this. It's my dream. And what my dad wanted most. Be being in a label made both Aaliyah and mom more happy than they have ever been the last 3 and a half month.
Ela is excited too. Or at least I think so. She has been smiling rather than crying.
"What are you gonna publish first? And Taylor Swift? My god. I think I will die. " Aaliyah says. I came back from LA yesterday and I decided to stay with them until I move permanently in LA
"I don't know. I'm thinking 'life of the party'. Yes. Taylor Swift. I met her yesterday" I tell her, giving her my phone and she gets shook when she sees the picture
"Holy muffin" Aaliyah says, giving me back much phone
Also, Andrew and his team, helped me regain my old accounts. It seems like i didn't completely delete them so I have them back with all my followers and posts
"Can I come with you?" Aaliyah asks me referring to LA
"No you can't. You will finish school" mom says from the kitchen. This woman can hear anything
"You can come when you have free time" I tell Aaliyah, messing with her
Aaliyah rolls her eyes and goes back into her social media. She has been getting more and more popular the last days. I even got 7M.
Ela is laying on her stomach in the couch so I pick her up, placing her on my chest. She starts playing with the bottoms of my shirt and I remove her hands away from my shirt so she won't pull them out and accidentally put them into her mouth.
"Nash and Ed are coming over" my mom says as she walks in the living room
"I haven't seen them in ages" I confess and mom takes Ela into her arms
"Because you are getting a career,you mustn't forgot your friends and family. And remember,you own me a lot. I'm your mom." Mom says nagging at me so I won't end up like all those celebrities that forget who they are
"Don't worry mom. I'm not even that close to that. Relax" I tell her
"It's weird how you get together with that Andrew guy. " Aaliyah says looking up from her phone
"Except from the fact that we both need each other we have something else in common" I tell them and my mom raises an eyebrow
"He needs a talent and you need a manager.What else?" My mom asks , holding Ela from her hands and trying to learn her how to keep her balance
"Lydia's sister, Vanessa Gilly,is Andrew's enemy. Kind of. She steals every talent Andrew is about to sign with. And that's terrible. He doesn't like Vanessa for what he does to him and I don't like Lydia for what she did to me and Ela. So, Andrew will be manager and we will something in common". I explain
"If one sister is a bitch,then all of them are" Aaliyah says rolling her eyes
"Language!And that's like desire. You don't want to see Lydia ever again and he doesn't want to see Vanessa. It's like..." My mom says but the door bell cuts her off
I get up and open the door to see Nash and Ed wearing shirt with a logo saying 'I was in the Mendes army since Shawn was a baby'
"Who did this?" I ask them laughing
"Ed" Nash says
"I found them pretty cool" Ed says
