Every Ending Has A New Beginning.

"Baby not even gone lie, you suck at bowling." Nova laughs watching the bowling ball Chris had just rolled roll into the gutter.

Chris crosses his arms and pursed his lips, honestly thinking that he rolled the ball perfectly. He slowly spun around to a laughing Nova, mugging her. "I don't suck....my wrist just acting funny today."

"Yeah.....iight." Nova laughed walking past him and grabbing a bowling ball from the ball retriever and walking up to the lane they were playing in. "Now. Watch how it's done."

She pulled her arm back a little before smoothly rolling the ball down the lane. The ball rolled in a perfectly straight line, knocking all ten pens down. Smiling, Nova turned around and stuck her tongue out at Chris.'

"Haha." Nova teased looking at the scoreboard, the score now 89-58. Herself obviously winning. "This is the third round in a row that I've beaten you in, we only got ten more minutes left. Just give up already bro, you're trash." She smiles walking over to Chris and patting his shoulder.

Chris quickly shrugged her hand off his shoulder, still keeping the mug towards her on his face. "You sure wasn't talkin shit when I was beating your ass at Topgolf yesterday." He said making Nova kiss her teeth.

"Golf is hard, plus in every game we played you cheated!" Nova whined walking past him and plopping down into a chair.

"How did I cheat?" Chris chuckles grabbing a bowling ball. Nova stayed quiet, not being able to think of how Chris cheated, but she surely knew he did just because of how high his score was each round compared to hers.

Today was Thursday, exactly one week from when Nova planned on traveling to California by herself for the first time. Next Thursday would be the move-in day for first-year and transfer students, which obviously included Nova. She had made the decision to move most of her things in on move-in day, but not officially move in until the next week- being that that's when classes started. Plus it wasn't mandatory to actually move in on that exact date, but a few people did just because they either didn't feel like traveling back home or wanted to get a little used to staying on campus.

Since this was Nova's second to last week in Texas, Chris dedicated his whole week to taking Nova out on a different date every day of the week; and so far it was a success. On Monday he took her to see Spider-Man: Far from home, since it was something they both had been wanting to see. Tuesday he took her to the Austin Zoo, Nova not enjoying that date so much because the monkey she thought would be fun to hold began roughly pulling her hair- which was also embarrassing to her. Wednesday was Chris's favorite since they went to TopGolf, him crushing a confident and competitive Nova in each round they played. Now it was Thursday, and he decided on taking her bowling, thinking that he was going to continue to beat Nova in everything they played, but to his surprise, she was actually good.

Besides the one embarrassing moment at the zoo, Nova was living the best week of her life. It was taking her mind off the whole college situation which she honestly dreaded thinking about.

Chris waited until the person in the lane beside them went, before rolling. The ball rolled down the lane, eventually knocking down nine of the ten pins. "Who trash bih?" He smirked doing some weird dance as Nova laughed and softly clapped her hands.

"Bout time," She chuckled watching him grab another bowling ball. Nova was sure he wasn't going to knock down the last pen, so she decided to have a little fun. "Let's make a bet. If you make this a spare.....I'll do anything you want me to do for the next twenty-four hours-"
