The last few days had been so stressful, the others could barely understand what they were doing until they had done it. Their minds were jumbled with unknown thoughts that surely were negative in the given situation.

Though Stiles was back, their problem was still there, it would take a lot more to stop what they were facing and it was slowly eating away their sanity. Cara was trying hard to keep up with everything, she was losing track of time, breathes and could barely stand on her own, like her mind was being dissolved as fast as the nogitsune's energy was growing.

It was on the tip of her tongue, a constant thought in her mind. Death was coming. It was getting nearer and nearer, she could literally feel it. It was a fear she didn't want to face, not when, to her, Aaron's death was still so fresh, she knew she couldn't deal with the feeling of losing someone again, not after all they had gone through.

So as she approached the Sheriff's station, her mind was fuzzy, choosing not to dwell on anything as she was sure she couldn't possible deal with it. Her hand was clutching Stiles', thinking, she could lose him in an instance and maybe if she didn't let go, he wouldn't.

Who knows, who knows what could possible happen.

"Ah, if I could find my keys." The Sheriff mumbled angrily, searching his coat while speaking.

"In your coffee cup." Stiles answered, his hand nervously twitching as Scott and Cara stood behind the boy, his voice gaining the attention of the man. "You always drop them in your empty cup."

The Sheriff didn't want to believe his eyes for once as he looked at the pair for confirmation, the two nodding encouragingly. The man put his coat down, rushing to greet his son with a firm embrace, Stiles stumbling a little as he released a chuckle.

Scott and Cara let a smile on their face, nodding approvingly at each other. Cara walked forward as the two's embrace ended and The Sheriff turned to look at Scott and Cara, "Is it over?"

Cara took the keys out of the coffee mug as she looked over at them. "Not yet."

Everyone then explained everything to the Sheriff, Lydia's disappearance along with the nogitsune's.

"We got an APB out on Lydia's car. Every unit on the road is looking for her." The Sheriff informed as he walked back into his office.

"Is there anything else we can do?" Cara questioned, leaning on the desk next to Stiles.

"At this hour? Not really." The Sheriff answered, his sympathetic eyes finding hers.

"He took her for a reason, dad. Look if we can figure out the why, we can figure out the where." Stiles told them, waving his hands around.

"Okay," The Sheriff agreed, looking back to see if everyone was out of earshot and looked back at the group. "What would a nogitsune need with a Banshee?"
