I don't own teen wolf.

Cara stood next to a nervous Isaac, who was pacing back and forth. Her eyebrows were dipped in a conservative frown as she watched the boy walk back and forth with anxiety practically bubbling out of him.

"No I'm starting not to like this idea." He muttered. "It sounds kind of dangerous." He adds. For a moment he looked up, briefly meeting Cara's eyes as his hands rested on his hips.

Despite her very own worry, Cara rolled her eyes at his uneasiness knowing very well the pale boy had started to exaggerate. "No I definitely don't like this idea and I definitely don't like him." He corrected himself.

"Isaac. Chill." Cara faux cooed, his repeating her previous actions of Rollin the eyes. "Plus, nobody likes him."

"You'll be fine." Derek assured.

"Does it have to be him?" Cara asked, still weary with the idea. It was no secret that she despised the older Hale. His intentions were bad and his instincts could not be trusted, he reeked of distrust and dishonesty, so when she heard the man was to arrive she livid.

"He knows how to do it. I don't. Neither do you. It would be more dangerous if I did it myself." Derek replied calmly, closing his eyes to express his annoyance.

Isaac shifted uncomfortably.

"You know Scott doesn't trust him right? And personally I trust Scott." He turns to the girl. "I trust you more then him and I haven't even known you for 3 weeks."

"Do you trust me?" Derek questions .

The Beta looks at the girl then back to his Alpha. "Yeah."

"I just still don't like him." Isaac and Cara say in unison.

"Nobody likes him." The Alpha repeated annoyed at the other two werewolves negativity toward his uncle.

The door to the loft open and all the heads snap in the direction of the noise. Peter Hale stood in the doorway slowly making his way towards the group.

Isaac and Cara immediately share a look. The vibe in the room almost instantly went chilly as the man walked in, a smirk present on his face.

"Boys. And girl. FYI, yes me coming back from the dead has left my abilities somewhat impaired but the hearing still works. So I hope your comfortable saying whatever it is you feel to my face." He said finally.

"We don't like you." Derek says bluntly. Cara nods in agreement.

"Ah. Cara Williams you really turned out to be beautiful. Just like your mother. Now don't judge a book by its cover. We haven't met each other in ages." He says smugly.

His smirk not fading once.

"I've heard enough to re-kindle my feeling towards you, which is extreme hatred at this point." She says with a tight smile ignoring the statement he made about her mother.

"Shut up and help us." Derek says. Peter shrugs. "Fair enough."

********

Isaac sat slouched on a wooden chair playing with his thumbs nervously. His Alpha and new friend sitting close by watching Peter threateningly. It was no surprise that Cara hated the man more then anybody in the room. Including him.

"Relax, ill get more out of you if you're calm." Peter tells Isaac walking towards the Beta. Cara could feel herself growing more uncomfortable by the second.

The two teenagers didn't want the older Hale anywhere near them.

Cara was seriously confused. Not only had she just arrived a few weeks ago with no clue with what was going on in the supernatural town but she felt out of it. She wanted to feel like she was part of something and she knew that wouldn't happen in a matter of weeks, but she could always hope.
