"What's taking them so long?" Jungkook moved to and fro in front of the closed door.
He ended up calling Yoongi over, he had no reason to not call him. They will meet sooner or later even if Jungkook gave a half assed excuse of him not being able to contact Yoongi. They were meant to be, after all.
Jungkook knew he wasn't supposed to think that way. He wasn't supposed to hope for Hyemin to lose her memories forever.
"Hey," Yoongi closed the door carefully.
Jungkook stopped, looking around to see an unfamiliar Yoongi. By unfamiliar, he meant by the look on Yoongi's emotionless face. His nonchalant eyes that never gave a fuck to anything happening around him, his lips that always curled upwards. None of them made their appearance.
He looked different. He looked... Happy. A fake type of happiness. Where you shove your real emotion into the bin and deceive everyone with a smile.
"I have a favor to ask," Yoongi said. His tone low careful.
"What is it?"
"When you go in, please don't ask her anything." Yoongi paused, placing a hand on Jungkook's shoulder, "Take care of her, I know you can do it for me."
And he's gone. Gone for good.
Jungkook took a hint from Yoongi's words and sprinted into the room. Then something held his legs back from going nearer. Jungkook was confused. What was he supposed to do with a crying girl?
One. Run away
Two. Hug her
Three. Do nothing and just stare
If I'm in a melodrama, Jungkook thought. I'll definitely go for option two.
But he wasn't. He was facing a real life situation, not some kind of cheesy melodrama he would always skip whenever it appeared in the TV.
"Jungkook?" Hyemin looked over, her eyes red.
Jungkook gulped, that look on her face just made him want to pull her into his embrace so bad.
Fuck it, I'm going with option two.
"What are you— Jungkook?" Hyemin muffled, confused.
Jungkook shut his eyes tightly, he hugged her. Now what?
"Yoongi... Is he gone? Is he gone for real?"
He squeezed her in his arms tighter at the mention of Yoongi. The one hugging her right now is him. Hyemin mentioning Yoongi at his most sensitive moment made him wanted to smash his lips against hers and show her that he's Jungkook. Not Yoongi.
But as long as Hyemin was in his arms, nothing matters anymore. For now.

Hyemin rubbed her eyes, a little surprised when her fingers were stained with tears.
"Did I cry?" She shrugged.
Hyemin shivered at the morning air. A reason why she dislike being an early bird was because of the unbelievable coldness in the morning.
Despite the coldness, her left hand felt warm... As if someone was holding it. Oh wait.
"Jungkook?" Hyemin gasped, covering her mouth later on after realizing that she was being too loud.
"Mhm..." Jungkook shifted in his sleep, his hand still holding Hyemin's.
"H-Hey, wake up." Hyemin shook Jungkook by the arm.
Receiving no response from him, she shook him a little bit stronger this time.
"Finally,"
Jungkook groaned, covering his face with both palms. "Why can't you let me sleep more?"
He's right, why did I even wake him up?
"U-Uhm... Ah! I'm hungry, yes!" Hyemin came up with a quick and legit answer.
"Jesus, it's only five in the morning. Fine, I'll wash up and grab some food." Jungkook complained, still half asleep.
Hyemin laughed, biding goodbye at Jungkook.
"Yoongi has probably go back to Daegu by now..." Hyemin sighed.
"Hyemin!" Suga panted as he reached the room. Jumping up from her bed upon the long waited voice, Hyemin smiled brightly at the presence of Yoongi.
"D-did you remember everything now?" Yoongi asked,
Hyemin gave him a light nod before smiling, "Mhm. Yoongi, let's- let's get back together. I know I took too long, but we can go back to what we were once again, right?" She pleaded, taking Yoongi's hand.
She expected him to nod and say 'yes', but Yoongi didn't.
He pulled away from her grip awkwardly, shaking his head. "No, we can't."
