Chapter 14

~MATT'S POV~

The final bell rings that signals school is over for the day and I walk out of the classroom. I go to my locker and get my stuff, then find March at her locker. She looks up at me and smiles.

"Hi!" she says.

"Hey, so I was thinking it's time we go on another date... is tonight okay with you?" I ask her.

"Yeah! what time and where?"

I smile and say, "it's a surprise... about where it is anyway.. I'll pick you up from your house at 5:30."

She smiles and says, "ooo, mysterious..." We laugh and she asks, "well what should I wear?"

"A nice dress"

"Ooo.. fancy" she giggles and pecks my lips.

I smile and grab her hand, then we start the walk to our houses.

~MARCH'S POV~

I get home and start getting ready right away. I honestly have no idea what to wear. I'm not exactly a dressy person, but I don't mind for things like this.

Besides, I think it's super cute that Matt's taking me on a date like this. I wonder where it is...

I go to my closet and open the door. I look through it and pick out a few dresses that would work for this type of date and lay them on the bed.

It takes about 10 minutes for me to decide, but I finally do. It's a black dress with a pink and blue flower pattern all over it below the waist. Above the waist it's plain black and strapless. It goes down to my knees and is see through on the back, just lace.

I slip the dress on and decide on how to do my hair. I go on Pinterest and look for cute and easy hairstyles. Once I finally find one that doesn't look too impossible, I attempt to do it.

It doesn't work out exactly. I'm terrible at doing hairstyles like this, but I'm determined to have decent looking hair for this date.

I finally find another one and try it. It actually works out pretty well. By the time I'm done with it my hair is french braided into a side bun.

My bangs are too long to go above my eyes, so I have to have them to the sides, like always. I straighten my bangs and arrange them to both sides of my head and am finally satisfied with how it looks.

I do my makeup next. I pick a natural look for the eyes, light eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner. Then I add a little blush and some dark pink lipstick with light pink lipgloss over it to make my lips shinier.

I check the time on my phone and gasp. I must take a really long time to get ready because it's 5:20. I pick out a clutch and put my money and phone in it. I find the black heels I wore to the party matt took me to and put them on.

I check myself one last time in the mirror and hear the doorbell ring. I run downstairs as fast as I can in these heels and open the door.

Matt has on a nice suit and tie. He smiles once he sees me and says, "woah, you look hot."

I smile and say, "right back at ya" and walk out of my house.

I follow matt to his car and he opens my door. I thank him and get in. Then he closes it and jogs around to his door and gets in.

He starts the car and drives off to wherever this mystery date is.
