Chapter 40

"Ugh matt hurry up!" I yell. "We're going to miss our flight!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming" he says as he walks into the living room.

Today's the day... the day I finally get to go to magcon Cali. I'm so excited, I've never been to Cali before, so I'm happy I get to experience the Cali life for a while.

Matt grabs his bags and I grab mine and we head out to his car. We throw them in the back and then he goes to say goodbye to his parents. I've already said goodbye to my mom yesterday night, since it's really early and I knew she didn't want me to stop by at 6 in the morning.

When we both get in the car I ask, "matttt, can we stop at Starbucks before? It's too early."

He agrees and we stop there, get our drinks and resume to the airport.

When we finally get through security and all that crap, we board the plane and find our seats. It takes no more than 10 minutes for matt to fall asleep, so I decide to get some sleep too.

I lay my head on his shoulder and am passed out minutes later.

Oh what a joy morning flights are...

"Hey, March. Wake up." I hear someone say, shaking my shoulder.

I groan and open my eyes to see matt.

"Woah, did I really just sleep through the whole flight?" I ask.

"Yeah. I woke up about 45 minutes before we landed and have been bored because I had no one to talk to."

"Psh. If I was awake, you would've been on your phone" I say and get up.

"Not true." He says.

"Mhmmm sure." I say before we grab our stuff and walk down the aisle.

We get off the plane and take a taxi to the hotel. When we get there, matt gets our room keys and we find our room.

Right when he opens the door he runs right to the bed and starts jumping on it like a little kid.

I shake my head and laugh at him, taking my stuff over to the other bed.

I hear a knock on the door and walk over to open it. Matt screams "it's a murderer!" behind me but I ignore him. It's definitely no murderer.

so I'm sorry because I kinda rushed through this, but I just wanted them to get to Cali and I think it's too boring to go too into detail with how they get there sooo yeah.
