Chapter 23

"So what about this brilliant plan of yours?" I asked him.

"Well... it doesn't solve everything, not the whole different school thing.. but it does solve what we're gonna do in summer." he says.

"Which is..." I nudge him to go on.

"You live with me for the summer."

I freeze. I mean, it's a good idea and it solves part of the problem at least, but I seriously doubt my mom will actually live with him.

"Matt.. I don't know.." I say.

The smile on his face dropped.

And now I feel bad.

I quickly say, "I mean, it's a good idea! ...I just don't think my mom will go along with it.."

I give him a small smile and he does the same.

We sit in silence for a while and then he finally says, "well then I guess we'll just have to convince her."

"Yeah... we need to think of how to though. And wait... did you mention any of this to your parents or..." I say.

He laughs lightly and responds with, "yes I told them. They said they're fine with it as long as you stay in the extra bedroom. I don't know why they don't want us in the same room at night... what could they possibly think we'd do?"

"Oh my god matt" I say as I shove him.

He laughs. "I don't know why they don't trust me" he says sarcastically.

I roll my eyes and say, "so about convincing my mom..."

***i am sooo sorry that this is so short and I took so long to update! I'm really busy with dance classes and packing for two weeks. And today I leave and won't be able to update for at least a week because of vacation and no wifi... but then I'm going to a hotel with wifi for the rest of my vacation so I'll try to update there!

I really wanted to make this chapter really long because I can't update for a while and I'm sorry I didn't! ok I gotta go because my mom's yelling at me to finish packing lol. Byyyeeee!!***
