Calum sat on the backseat of the car with his arms crossed and he slowly hummed to the music that he heard through his earbuds. He wasn't in the mood of talking to anyone right now since the last event happened at the airport.

That annoying and clumsy girl bumped into him again and this time she made him fall in front of a lot of people. It made him pissed. Like why did he has to be the victim of her clumsiness? Calum was silently hoping that he would never meet that girl again.

Michael turned his head to the side to see his best friend. His face was like a crumbled paper. His eyebrows were furrowed so deep and he had a deep frown on his face. He must be still mad because the girl bumped into him and made him fall to the ground, Michael thought.

He knew at the time like this, it was better for him to keep his mouth shut and let Calum alone with his thoughts. The music that blast from his earbuds could be heard by Michael. It was a song from All Time Low called 'Lost in Stereo'.

A few minutes later, they arrived at a big house. It was Luke and Claire's house in New York. They always stayed at the house whenever they had a business trip to New York. Sometimes they let their relatives to stay at the house since they weren't always in New York.

Once the car stopped, Calum quickly got out of the car and followed by Michael. The driver, Mr. Lee, helped them to get their suitcases out of the car. Calum and Michael dragged their suitcase along with them to the front door of the big house. Michael pushed the door that was slightly opened and walked in the room, followed by Calum behind him. He was kind of expecting there would be a line of maids greeting them, but there was nothing.

The interior of the house was pretty simple but yet luxurious. Either Claire and Luke were not a fan of too much luxurious decorated house. They walked until they saw a blonde haired girl standing in the living room with her phone pressed to her ear.

"Can't we rescheduled it? I have an important dinner with my family and friends tomorrow," she said. She was standing, facing the big window in her living room that gave her a perfect view of her garden. She still didn't realize that her brother and her best friend were standing in the doorway.

She nodded a few times although she knew her assistant couldn't see her. She turned around and her smile appeared as she saw them in the doorway. "I have to go now, White. I'll call you later, okay?" She hung up the phone before her assistant could respond. She walked to them and hugged them tightly.

It'd been a year since the last time she saw them. She missed them so much. "I missed you, guys. I'm glad that you guys landed safely." Claire pulled away from the group hug and stared at them with happiness.

Michael pulled in his sister for another hug and squeezed her lightly. "God, Claire, I've missed you so, so, so much!" He gave her some small kisses on top of her head and her cheeks. She squealed in his embrace.

"Mikey, stop it..." she giggled.

"I'm your brother so I can kiss you as many as I want," he chuckled and finally let her out from his embrace before he leaned in and gave her another kiss on her forehead.

She rolled her eyes at her brother. Then she looked to Calum. There was a faint frown on his face. Calum was happy to see Claire, his only girl best friend, but he was still in a bad mood. "Hey," he said, barely whispered.

"Hey, Cal. What's wrong?" Claire frowned.

Calum just shrugged. He even wasn't in the mood of explaining what happened at the airport to her. Claire turned to her brother, asking for an explanation. "He's in a bad mood right now. Not only because of the early and long flight to NYC, but also because of a girl bumped into him and it caused him to fall to the ground in front of loads of people," Michael said nonchalantly.

"She wasn't only bumped into me once, Mike. She had bumped into me before we met at the airport and it caused my phone fell to the ground. Screen first planted to the ground," he said through his gritted teeth. His anger boiled as he remembered the event.

"Well, she did it not on purpose, dude," Michael said, not seeing why Calum made it such a big deal. People always make mistakes, right? Even some clumsy people also need some kind of forgiveness.

Calum gave him a glare. Claire put her hand on Michael's arm, silently wishing her brother not to start an argument with Calum. Michael looked at his sister from the corner of his eyes. Her face was pleading him to shrug it off. "So, lil sist, can you show us our room? I'm so tired." Michael tried to change the topic and let out a yawn escaped from his lips.

Claire let out a small laugh and nodded. "Of course, why not? Follow me, guys." She walked out of the living room and headed upstairs, followed by Michael and Calum. As they reached the end of the stairs, they saw a staircase that led to the upper floor of the house. There was also a living room in the middle and there were four doors to the guests bedrooms.

They walked to the first room. It was Calum's room and across his room was Michael's room. "Well, Mike, you're lucky because you could get the biggest guest bedroom in this house. Aunt Trish and her family can't come to NY but they promised they will attend my wedding in Miami."

Michael's eyes widened in happiness and the stupid grin on his face appeared. "The one with jacuzzi at the balcony?"

Claire nodded and Michael pumped his fist in the air with excitement. Claire just shook her head and chuckled. "I hope you guys having a nice time here. Now, just go to rest. If you need anything, just tell me or Mrs. Lee, our housekeeper," Claire said before she walked away, going downstairs.

Calum quickly got into his bedroom. It was quite big, even bigger than his bedroom back in Australia. He was thinking, if this was the standard size of the guest bedrooms in this house then how big Michael's bedroom was. He put his suitcase to the walk-in-closet. He could unpack his clothes later, he thought to himself. He kicked off his shoes near the bed and plopped down to the big and comfortable California King sized bed.

He laid his head on top of the big white pillow and closed his eyes. He was slowly drifted to sleep, dreaming about red haired girl with green eyes.
